How many dogs spend their vacation enjoying fresh air and sunshine staying with a Park Ranger at the Grand Canyon? Your dog will have opportunities to explore Grand Canyon's forested South Rim and will go home to you with photographs in iconic locations. You can rest assured that your pup will have a great time in a beautiful area with more one on one attention (and at a lower price) than he or she would receive at the local kennel.
I've had dogs (Pomeranian, Golden Retriever, Schnauzer, Japanese Chins) and other pets (birds, cats, snakes, gerbils) since I was a very little girl. I have also had the great honor of working for the National Park Service for the past 9 years. From snake handling to dodging bison to keeping crowds of people a safe distance away from elk to chasing bears out of campgrounds (and even my car!), my work as a Park Ranger has granted me amazing opportunities to work with animals in the wild. I've also pet sat for all different breeds of dogs at all different ages with a variety of health and exercise needs in parks all across the country. I am not certified in dog cpr, but I am an EMT with a wilderness medicine background.
I've attached pictures of my home, my two Japanese chin dogs (between ages 2 and 3), as well as other dogs I've taken care of. I welcome dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages into my home, so long as there are no aggression issues. I lead a very active lifestyle and am excited to work with you to create a schedule that will meet your pet's attention and exercise needs. I offer discounts for extended stays and multiple dogs. Looking forward to meeting you and your canine family members!
