About Amy

9 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello everyone!
My husband and I love caring for animals. We have two dogs of our own and both my husband and I have been living with pets since we were born. The various breeds range from dogs small as chihuahuas to those large as Giant Schnauzers.

We cuddle and love the pets we care for like they are our own. The reason we started this business in the first place is because we wanted to experience dogs of all types, but decided we didn't want to be those crazy dog people with 15 dogs in the house!

Some might see that we have young kids and think that is a bad thing, but they love the animals just like we do. We have taught them to be kind and how to properly treat the animals we care for and even those we may encounter in public places. We want to foster a love of all types of animals in them, while also teaching them responsibility for caring for those animals. Plus, they are great at wearing the animals out!

For the pets staying in our home, we will walk them, feed them, and crate them/not crate them per your request. We want them to stay on the same schedule and feel comfortable while at our house. Obviously those we take care of outside of our home will also follow your/their schedule.

Amy & Mike were great hosts. Amy was very responsive to my questions and very accommodating for pick-up and drop-off times. My pup was even reticent to leave because she had such a good time!
Incredibly accommodating on very short notice. My dog seemed like he was having a great time when I came to pick him up :)
Amy was great!! Our dogs seemed to love staying with her and her family. I would definitely let Amy watch our dogs again.
My Basset Hound seemed to do very well at Amy's. She and her husband were very helpful with regard to drop off and pickup. So far as I can tell the dog was spoiled as she would have been at home.
Amy took great care of Ace and we'd love to book her again in the future!
Amy knows dogs. That was a relief when she met our dog and was not concerned about typical dog meet dog behavior (she has several dogs). I was worried about our dog being around younger children, but Amy was confident with managing any overly aggressive or excited behaviors by dogs or children. She maintained contact with us through out the 10 days she boarded our dog and was always very positive, but honest about how our dog was doing at her house. We will definitely consider Amy again to board our dog.

Super friendly! Nala had a great overnight stay and came back tired!
Amy and her family were great! Ace had a great time playing with her dogs and kids and we will definitely be bringing him back! Amy was very responsive and checked in with me while we were gone to let me know everything was going well.
My dog seemed to have a great time at Amy's house. The Pape kids acted so lovingly towards Riven, and I didn't meet their other dogs, but I was told that they and my dog had lots of fun together. Amy responded within a couple hours of me contacting her and was totally friendly and polite.

Pepper stayed with Amy and seemed to have a great time with her family! Amy was very prompt with her response to my reservation request, and was able to accommodate Pepper with almost zero-notice after my other plans to board her had fallen through. Thank you, Amy!
