Hi! I am a traveling author (Beasts: Beginning of the End), my husband is a digital nomad as well doing marketing after getting half a PhD in Psychology, and we have a 14-pound nonshedding service dog. We are in our 30’s, professional/mature/responsible, handy, clean, vegan, and will take care of your furred, feathered, scaled, or slimy friends like they were our own (will not feed live animals to pets like snakes or spiders, though!). We have fallen in love with Portland and we would like to be here throughout the summer, but we need to offset our pricey Airbnb budget with housesitting while I finish writing my third book (set in Portland!). Prices are negotiable depending on our availability! We would rather take care of your pets/garden/etc any day rather than keep paying for Airbnb’s! We are also well-versed in what is toxic to dogs and cats, keeping those items or scents far away or safe out of reach. When in doubt, we will always look it up!
