ABOUT ME: I’m a recent law graduate looking to make a little extra money while I study for the bar exam. My boyfriend (also a law grad studying for the bar) and I live in a dog friendly apartment building with our two dogs - Muffy, a ~9 year old rescue beagle, and Winston, a ~8 year old rescue beagle mix. They’re both very friendly and laid back. Muffy is a bit more playful but they otherwise just like to hang out and sleep all day. They’re used to other dogs (my parents have two greyhounds and a large mutt that they get along with very well). To say I’m a dog lover would be an understatement but i don’t know how else to put it! Those who know me would tell you I’m great with dogs and very responsible and competent. MY EXPERIENCE: I’ve had family dogs my whole life and got my own in January 2017 and a second in August 2018. While neither is “special needs,” I’ve cared for them as they’ve gone through various diets, surgeries, etc. SERVICE: Service is very flexible and can be catered to the needs of your dog! Generally we’d just take your dog(s) on walks with ours. We usually walk our dogs a 4+ times a day (Winston compulsively drinks water so he frequently needs to pee). We have a car so I'm also happy to take your dog(s) to any veterinary appointments. Dogs have free run of the apartment but will not go unsupervised. Since we’re just studying, at least one of us, if not both, are pretty much at home all day. Since moving to the DC area, I think our dogs have been left home unsupervised less than three times - only when we’ve gone for COVID testing. They’re never really home alone though because we have a Furbo with a Dog Nanny subscription. If we have to run other errands we usually bring the dogs with us and one of us stays in the car or the dogs come into the store with us.
