Pack Perfection

Pet care experience

DOG WALKS, DOGGIE DAY CARE and TRAINING SERVICES AVAILABLE! Luna and I recently relocated to Fort Lauderdale from NJ. After teaching for ten years, I decided to follow my heart into a new field of teaching- training dogs. I love helping dog owners and teaching their families how to work with their furry friends to ensure a happy, healthy relationship for all. For now, I am volunteering, spending time at a local training facility, and working as a dog walker and sitter. I welcome all types of dogs to join our pack for a short time or an extended stay. Daycare, walking, and boarding are all options! When your dog is with Luna and I you can expect long walks, fun swimming in the pool, organized games, and free play in our large fenced-in backyard. All play is fully supervised. If you are looking to sharpen your pup's basic manners, contact me about training options! We can even dabble in agility and nose work if you are looking for extra mental stimulation. If your dog is active, we can run and bike together! In just a few months I will have my formal training certificate (CCDT) from a Master's Dog Training Class through CATCH Canine Academy, so I offer much more expert services than your typical walker and sitter. Plus, I promise your best bud will be well cared for, tired and happy when joining our pack! Before booking, please schedule a meet-n-greet. I prefer to meet on neutral grounds and if your dog seems like a good match for us I will invite you over to my home. This way you get a detailed consultation and time for Luna and your dog to have some fun in our home and yard. Please bring an updated vaccination record, as well as information about the type and date of your dog's last heart worm and flea & tick treatment during the visit here. Note that there is an additional charge for extra large dogs (over 50 pounds), puppies, and for holiday boarding. Prices can be finalized after a meet n greet. Remember your dog will get individualized attention here because I only accept two dogs to board at a time and this is my full time business, so I won't be running off to work for 8 hours each day. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my whole life. I grew up with a mixed breed rescue from a local pound. She was quite territorial, pretty reactive with other canines and guarded her food and toys so I quickly learned how to handle some tough behaviors. I also learned to respect her unique personality and background. A few years ago I rescued two mixed breed puppies who have become the love of my life. In fact, my dedication to training these two love bugs led me to leave a career in education to become a certified trainer. I entered a Master's Program at Catch Canine Academy based out of NJ and have been studying, reading, volunteering and working with canines non stop for the past year. I am always thinking of new ways to engage with the pups, from creative interactive toys, to nose work and agility exploration. Dogs are my passion. Meet my pets Luna and are are loving our new home and fantastic backyard. Between the pool and tons of palms to run behind and lay under we are pretty content! Plus, we enjoy regular beach visits, dog parks, walking alone or with some neighborhood dogs, swimming in the pool and playing in the water Snyder Bark Park down the street. We take bike rides on cool nights and mornings and appreciate a good game of tug and/or fetch every day. You can find us on adventures around town, strolling Las Olas and the Riverfront and exploring hiking trails in Broward County! About my yard The spacious backyard has large grassy areas on both sides of the pool. There is also a large area on the side of the house that dogs who enjoy the sun and peace and quiet like to lay near. The fenced in property is surrounded by over palms providing shade and entertainment.

With all our heart we believe that Nicole Graves is wonderful! She is highly experienced and trained. She takes great care when watching over our two mini dachshunds providing them with fun and fulfilling day(s)! Nicole engages them with games, exercise, and takes them on doggie adventures geared toward their enjoyment. Nicole takes great strides to make sure they are in a safe and comfortable environment. We whole heartedly believe she is one of kind and loves what she does! Nicole sends us photos, video clips and messages throughout the day to make sure we know how our girls are doing and what they are experiencing. It is incredible to watch how excited our girls get when we pull up to her home - they can't wait to get out to greet Nicole. We are so blessed to have found her. Because of her we are able to go on vacation again. We highly recommend Nicole and promise you will be extremely satisfied along with your pet(s).

This was our first time leaving our dog, Lucy, with a sitter for any length of time. After interviewing several both by phone and in person, we were generally disheartened by either the lack of knowledge, the poor behavior of the sitter's own pets, or the sheer number of animals already under their watch. Nicole was, immediately, a breath of fresh air. She: - Has one well-behaved, intelligent, well-trained dog, Luna, who got along perfectly with Lucy. - Is a dog trainer, so she worked with Lucy (as my wife and I do) during her stay - Cares. We got pictures and updates multiple times daily, and Nicole showed genuine affection towards and care for Lucy. We will not hesitate to use Nicole again for long or short stays. It was a pleasure for Lucy and for us, and we so appreciated knowing that Lucy was well cared for and in such capable hands.

Nicole has been walking my dog Winston, and it has been a great experience! She is very trustworthy and keeps you up to date on everything she does. I received photos and a route via text showing me where they walked and for how long they were out! I was so happy to see that my dog was so well taken care of while I am at work. I would absolutely recommend her services to anyone!

I used Nicole for 4days/3nights to sit my large dog. She Loves dogs and spent much time caring for my pet. He is extra large, strong and has minor allergies. I can testify in her ability to handle large/strong breeds who may have a few medical issues like mine. Another +plus is Nicoles knowledge and education of the K-9, this is evident in her handling and the communication to the owner. She is very patience, responded back immediately, and kept in contact when I needed reassurance or requested pics of my dog! She has many toys to stimulate and encourage the pet to work and keep active, she even knows how to handle a dog who my be having seperation anixiety from missing the owner, like my dog. I usually board my dog in a kennel but I am grateful Nicole agreed to sit my big, slobbery dog and appreciated her service. She was GREAT!

Information Nicole G. would like to know about your pet

I believe a meet and greet on neutral grounds is very important. It is also very important that Luna and the other dogs get along well. She is sweet, submissive, and playful and especially loves romping with dogs bigger than her. I would like to know about size, play style, and if the dog is house trained, and/or crated at night? Vaccination records are a must before staying with us. Prefer dogs that are spayed/neutered. Must provide information about flea, tick and heart worm treatment and provide updated vet records. There is an additional fee for extra large dogs.

Here's where we'll take our walks We enjoy the local neighborhood, but also appreciate variety. We like strolling downtown on Las Olas Blvd and along A1A too. At times, we head to parks to walk along trails. New smells are exciting so we keep things interesting! Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog is welcome to sleep where he/she is comfortable. My pup sleeps on a dog bed in my room or in her crate. Yours is welcome to do the same. Many times, I turn our sunroom into a doggie bedroom, especially for multiple night stays. Time I'll spend with your dog I am with the dogs most of the day, except if a few errands need to be run. I will always walk the dogs at least two times a day for 20-30 minutes, depending on the dogs needs and the heat. Plus I will supervise all indoor and outdoor play.
