About Francesca

40 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My home is extremely pet friendly from an enclosed yard (with locked gates) to wood floors. Safety and security is essential. My yard is completely enclosed with plenty of shade and sun. I live in a townhouse community where there is a park that I take the dogs to play and then we can take a walk around the complex for a little more exercise.
My own dogs, Logan and Rocky, are extremely pet friendly and enjoy having doggy guests in their home. Your pet will feel at home with my pack and myself as all of my dogs sleep in my room and so will yours.
I am a retired therapist and have worked with dogs who have psychological issues. I've help countless of other dog owners understand their pets and how to gain control over their pet so that the pet and owner become a family or in doggie words: Part of the pack.

We can't say enough about Fran. Once again, awesome care (as always)!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!
As usual everything was great about leaving Roxy with Francesca. She knows our dog well and can handle her energy and needs. We are so comfortable having Roxy stay with Fran when we go away. I didn't worry at all, and plan to have Fran dog sit for us again and again.

I was a little apprehensive when we were dropping off our dog because the house did not appear to be very dog friendly. There were lots of things on the coffee table and a tea set on a taller table that was at tail height for our dog. There was not much of a yard and most of the outside area is concrete. Fran is very nice and welcoming and Bert seemed to like her, so we decided to leave him with her.

Within a few hours I received a call from Fran saying that he had gotten out of her yard. We headed back to her house and on the way received a call from a woman who found Bert lying in the street. Thankfully, he was not injured and jumped into her car. I called Fran to tell her that we were meeting the woman about a mile from her house where Bert had been found. She said she would meet us there. When we got to the library, Fran's son and some of his friends were waiting for us with the woman who found our dog. We took Bert back to Fran’s house to find out what had happened. When we got there she had quite a few people over and was having a Christmas party. I was a little upset that she did not even go to the library to meet us. She told us that one of the four-year-olds had opened the front gate and that Bert had run out. We were hesitant to leave Bert with her and went back to our hotel to try to find other accommodations for him. Because of the time of year and late notice, we were unable to find anywhere else and have no choice but to leave Bert with Fran for the week.

I was hoping for better communication throughout the week to put my mind more at ease. I had to initiate all contact even though she had said that she would send lots of pictures. During the week, Bert and another dog that she was watching got into and ate a full bag of Pupperoni dog treats. In a house that is set up to take care of animals, there is no excuse for having treats that can be reached that easily.

I let her know Friday and Saturday that we would be there to pick up Bert on Sunday morning at 830. When I got there I had to knock several times because she was still asleep. Bert had not eaten and had not been let out to go to the bathroom yet that morning.

Fran is a very nice person but I do not believe she is responsible enough to care for other people's pets. I would not recommend her and we will certainly not be using her again.

Roxy had a great time staying with Fran, and we did not worry about her at all while we were away. Fran understands dogs and is very loving. She genuinely cares about Roxy and is insightful about her needs. Fran sent us pictures and texts to keep us informed and connected. We were really happy with the care that Fran gave Roxy!

This is the third time we've had Fran "baby sit" Starr and we (including Starr) couldn't be more happy! Fran opens her home and makes Starr fell as though she is part of the family. Even her furry family makes Starr feel at home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This was Lola's first time ever being left in day care - it was only for the afternoon, as we were traveling through Albuquerque. Francesca was very calm & relaxed in welcoming Lola & said she did fine. Thanks Francesca, we appreciate that.
Benny loves his time with you.
Francesca was warm and loving to my dog and to me. Her home is relaxed and dog friendly in every way. Fran seems to really enjoy my dog's funny quirks and appreciates all dogs for who they are as individuals. Fran followed my instructions for my dog's special needs, and she sent me photos during my time away. My dog, Roxy, was so happy staying with Fran and I didn't have to worry about her getting sad or lonely. Fran was very kind to me also, and didn't mind that I called her often to check on things. I was finally able to relax and enjoy a vacation knowing that Roxy was safe and happy in a loving home.

This is the first time to use Dogvacay and it was a great experience. Francesca was wonderful. She knew how to make my dog calm. She opened her home to him and let him decide what he felt comfortable doing. It was just for one night and he was calm the next morning when we picked him up. Usually he cries and pulls to the car. I would recommend Francesca and use her again. I appreciate her doing that for us.

Francesca is a total dog lover; she and her two dogs welcomed Boo into their family on-the-spot. Boo spent two nights with them and it was obvious on my return he was totally comfortable and had enjoyed his time with them.
Francesca was the perfect "mom" for Benny while we were away. Benny hates kennels and hates being left alone. Francesca "got him" right away and provided all the love and attention he thrives on. We are looking forward to having Benny stay with Francesca in the near future.

Roxy took to Francesca right away and was so happy to sit by her side and get petted. Francesca was warm and friendly to me, too. Her home is a loving and laid back place to be.
I would not hesitate for a moment to have Francesca take care of Henri again. She was in a home where the entire family gave her the utmost TLC. She became part of their pack and they loved & nurtured her as I do. If you want someone to entrust with your beloved family pet, I highly endorse Francesca.

Schatzi must have enjoyed his stay he was exhausted today. But I do think he must have been a bit barky because he is a little horse as usually happens after staying with others be sure to tell me when he has been bad----I can handle it.
Went to Francesca's home this a.m. and left Maggie after meeting the other doggies and visiting with Francesca. Maggie did well - we picked her up around 5:00 p.m. Will be getting back with Francesca in the next day or two.
