About Scott

46 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
A beautiful place for pets to chill and get back to nature in a pet friendly environment. I'm a work at home doggy dad with ample space in and out for your pet to roam and explore while they visit. Working from home allows me to give ample attention to your pet day and night so they never feel alone or forgotten.

Two different outdoor areas offer shade, plenty of lush green grass, a sun deck and awesome trees. All of these areas are protected by complete fencing and security lighting during the evening hours. Inside, our furry guests are treated to beautiful cool tiled floors, a huge playroom upstairs, treats, toys and good lovin'! My friends are always encouraged to bring their dogs with them when they visit. Most of them take me up on that offer.

I have an awesome tree filled park within walking distance from my home. All the dogs like to explore this back to nature plot of land while on walks through our beautiful tree studded neighborhood.

"Willie" my beloved Basset is always eager to have guests and playmates over to visit. He is a gentleman at all times and plays well with other dogs.

I love taking photos of my doggie guests and will provide you with a few every day of his or her vacation. I will gladly email them to you while you are away so you can see how much fun Fido is having while staying at the TreeHouse.

Scott was great. Todd was so happy and tired when I got him. He must have played all weekend. We will be going back to Scott.
Arya was very happy and healthy when I picked her up. I also love the fact that Scott has a friendly dog that Arya could play with. I will be a return customer. Thank you!
Very happy with the service. My dog seemed happy too. Scott sent me a video of Roquette playing with his dog, which confirmed to me she was doing well while we were away. I am booking again with Scott for our Christmas vacation.
Scott is a great dog-sitter! Vini always comes home tired and happy and in great health! We feel confident leaving our furbabe with Scott, and love knowing he's got a great playmate in Willie!
Very pleased!
I left my dog with Scott for 10 days, I trusted she was in great hands, I know that he did his best with my dog, and the experience would have been better, if my dog was more behaved, but overall he did a great job taking care of my dog, even included picture updates , I will definitely recommend him to a friend.

Thanks again!! John and Lisa
Scott is always wonderful with our kids! We are frequent flyers with many joyful visits! Thanks to Willie too!
It seems like our dogs had a great time. They love playing with other dogs so I'm glad they had Willie and another doggie guest to play with. Scott sent us picture updates which was really nice since they were in a new place. We'll use him again.

He is the best dog dad for a day. He always tries to look for the best of our baby dogs!
My dog is a nervous little guy but Scott was very understanding and patient with him. He kept me updated with photos and was quick to respond. His property is clean with a good area for roaming for the dogs. He was also very flexible with pickup and drop off times. I plan to use his boarding services again.

Scott was a great host with a beautiful house. He was very flexible when booking meet and greets, drop off, and pick up. What I liked most is knowing that he worked from home and could give our boy the comfort of a human presents. He always had a prompt response to any questions I had about loki's status. I would book with him again.

This was my first experience with Scott and Dog Vacay. I have two older dogs, very friendly, but neither has never been to a sitter's home before. My husband and I were nervous about leaving our pups for the first time but Scott was very friendly and took great care of my babies. My husband and I especially enjoyed the picture updates Scott sent us while we were away, very comforting for owners missing their fur-babies. I'm glad we booked!

Scott was very friendly and accommodating, albeit overwhelmed because he had so many dogs. He also sent video/photo updates.
This is a hard review to write. We left our dog Fancy with Scott over 4th of July weekend.
In Scott’s defense, we have a young, high-energy dog that needs more attention than others. Fancy is scared of other dogs and doesn’t know how to interact with them. I failed to see online that Scott will take on 5+ dogs, so imagine my surprise when we show up to his house and there are 8 other dogs. He said he’s never watched this many at once, and he wasn’t sure how he was going to do it. This was the first time I’ve ever left my dog with someone else, and his comments were not very reassuring. His dog Willie would not stop humping mine. I did not want to leave her there, but the flight we had booked was going to leave soon and so I didn’t have much choice.

Scott’s a great person and will text you pictures to reassure you that your dog is doing well. However, I felt like I was part of a money making scheme this weekend. 9 dogs at $25/day for the 3-day weekend….that’ll total around $675 (barring any taxes or fees to dogvacay). I feel that my dog was part of a “Wow, I’m going to make so much money this weekend” plan and that she received sub-standard care.

She has been acting weird since we picked her up. She’s inhaling food and water at an alarming rate. She has little energy and just doesn’t seem herself. I don’t know what happened, but it was clearly a very stressful weekend for her. Ask Scott how many dogs he’ll be boarding before you book. If it’s over 4, please look s

Scott was easy breezy! We had to change up things last minute and he was on board with everything! He even assisted with Puffin's allergy meds :)
This is my first review or Scott but my 4th time using him. Scott has been nothing short of amazing with my dogs! He's super flexible with my schedule and always returns emails and text promptly. I will continue to use Scott for all my doggy daycare needs and highly recommend him!

Scott has the perfect home and demeanor to host other's pets. He has a genuine love of animals and took great care of my dog Henry. His house in in a beautiful part of town and fairly easy to get to. I would recommend Scott to anyone in the area and next time I need to board Henry, he will be the first person I call!

Scott gave us a reservation at short notice when our dog care fell though before a trip, and he did a great job caring for him while we were gone. He was attentive to the interactions of our dog with others and kept them all happy and comfortable. He gave us an update and photo while we were away and our dog came home rested and content. We're glad to have this affordable option in the future.

Scott was great with my dog Arty. He texted me picture updates of him so I knew he was doing fine without having to ask. I would recommend anyone to Scott.
Very easy drop off and pick up. Sent pictures while I was away so I was sure that my fur kid was doing just fine. Would definitely refer Scott to other fur parents!
Scott was great and Walker had a great time. Was very flexible in my dropoff and pick up times. Will use again!
We were happy to be able to leave Max in a home with someone who would care for him. We received photos and updates on his health - he had a tussle with another dog, but all was well in the end. Max obviously took to Scott as one of our photo updates was of Max sleeping on Scott's knee. Sounds like home...

Scott was very easy to work with and took great care of our dogs. They live in an apartment in the city, so they had a blast playing in his yards. We were so happy to leave them in a home rather than boarding them in a kennel. Scott took such great care of them and sent updates throughout their stay. He was great with communication and we will absolutely be booking with him again when needed.

Scott persevered with what turned out to be a difficult puppy. Apparently he did not adjust well to being away from home, and it was a little bit of a force of nature!
I am new to the Dallas area and travel a lot for work. This was the first time using DogVacay. I am so happy that I found Scott. And I feel that happy is an understatement. He was incredible. He sent me pictures and videos frequently throughout my travels. Willie (his hound) and Dali instantly became BFF's and had a great time.
Overall, he is great! I am thrilled that Dali has a great place to vacation while I am traveling for work. :) THANK YOU SCOTT!!!

Scott was so great! He sent pictures an updates daily and I have never felt more connected with my dog while away from her. I will for sure be using him again.
Scott was kind enough to take a last minute reservation for our two senior Bichon's. He is very thoughtful and professional. All the kids played well together.
We have recently moved and our female was very stressed. They had been with another fav host for a week, came to new house and were upset with chaos. Scott was wonderful and followed up on Kyla's condition. We will be back! Thank you Scott!
