I'm a freelance writer (working from home) in my 20s who has loved dogs her entire life, but was one of those kids whose parents never let her have one. I graduated from Columbia University in 2013 and returned to New York City after attending graduate school in England for a while, so I've been a New York City resident for about six years. For now, I have a friendly 15-pound female dog named Artemis living with me in my studio on the Upper East Side. We love having company over, so we hope you'll consider giving us a visit!
My large studio is air conditioned and heat controlled, with easy access to both Central Park and the 63rd Street Dog Run (and the local Unleashed by Petco store, where my dog is on a first-name basis with all the employees!). Even though I work from home, I'm an active person and love taking both my own dog and visiting dogs on walks several times throughout the day. I love cuddling with dogs and playing games with them, and they're allowed to sleep and play anywhere in my apartment. I've always been interested in caretaking; in the past, I've been a nanny and babysitter to families with children in Brooklyn, Upper West Side, and Paris, France. Right now, I'm more interested in taking care of dogs, and sometimes I foster puppies with non-profits around the city! Artemis, my dog, uses DogVacay herself when I go on vacation, and she loves playing with other dogs of all sizes. It's always a pleasure when we return the favor ourselves!
I love taking photos and Snapchats and promise to keep you updated with updates and photos regularly!
