About Lisa

25 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My first love has always been DOGS! I have had dogs in my family since I was a child and as an adult always had one or more in our family. I am a stay at home mom with one 13 year old daughter. I have worked with rescue groups for over 10 years and am familiar with many different breeds and temperaments. Our dog savvy family has fostered over 75 dogs and puppies. My home will be their home for their stay and they will be family to us because there's No Place Like Home! We have almost an acre of fenced in property where your dog will be safe and always supervised and I will provide daily walks if required to keep your pooch stimulated and satisfied! We do require your dog to be dog friendly as our family includes 2 happy Goldens and one laid back Basset/Beagle, who mainly sleeps all day! I can make exceptions for dogs (who just may be scared of larger dogs) because I can keep them separated if need be. I also prefer to host one dog at a time, to be able to give them the one on one they deserve! Most of all we provide care, cookies and continuous cuddles!

When I had to move to S. Florida I had 2 dogs. Mischief my Blue Heeler mix a rescue dog and Bella a Golden Retrieve. Florida is very hot and I felt it would be unfair to bring Bella my Golden down to this hot weather. So I advertised for someone to give my Baby a Home. Lisa answered. I met her and her husband and her Daughter. Bella loved them especially Leah her daughter. We where at a dog park and the played and jumped and could not get enough of each other. Since then My daughter goes back to NJ to see her friends twice a year and always stops in to see Bella and tell me how happy she is. Lisa sends me pictures and updates even though it has been 5 years I am here. I can see how happy she is and how she has become one of the family. Other then myself I have never met anyone who loves dogs as much as I do.
Besides her three she is a foster home for dogs waiting for a permanent home. Leaving your dog with Lisa would be like leaving it with a family member.

Lisa would be fantastic! I help run a local pet rescue, Close To Home Rescue & Sanctuary, and Lisa has fostered and volunteered for us for years! The dogs and pups always come back from staying with her as happy and clean as can be. I would highly recommend her.
