Hello there! I'm Nikki and my husband is Chris. We're from the Lehigh Valley and have been living in Bethlehem for a few years. We’ve had a lot of experience caring for dogs. Our dog, Spade, is a 50lb mixed breed that we rescued in March 2016. Since then we have had several dogs over while their owners were away and we hav also been fostering rescue dogs for the past 2 years. Spade is great with every dog he meets. He is tolerant of puppies who constantly want to play, and will not bother dogs who are more low key. We prefer doing a meet and greet before agreeing to watch your dog because we just want to make sure our dogs are comfortable together and that you are assured your dog is in good hands :) Our home is great for pets because we have a medium-sized yard that is fenced-in, we're close to local dog parks, it’s a great neighborhood for walks, and we have plenty of rooms and space for a guest. Chris and I both work locally during the day and we keep our dogs crated when we are not home. I can usually swing home in the middle of the day if needed to let Spade out, and Chris is a teacher so he is home most of the day during the summer. We love to take Spade to the dog park, out for runs and walks, and to any pet-friendly place we may be going to (Lowes, Petsmart, our Rugby games and practices, etc).
