Pet care experience
I have owned and raised all animals. From dogs, cats, lizards, horses, parrots and anything that is your pet. Experienced Vet Tech/Boarding/Daycare technician since 2008. 6 years kitty foster mom. I walk dogs 6 times a day often 20 dogs at a time at a veterinary hospital while they are boarding. I can give medications. I believe Nutrition has a lot to do with your pets overall health. I am an intermediate at dog training and don't mind walking with your instructions. I know your Pet is a family member, I believe they should be treated as one. I always like to send pictures and report cards for your pets visit, so while your away, you know how your pet spent their visit. I can't wait to visit your pets!

Nikki is great. My medical needs dog Sparky was well taken care of with his meds and insulin shots along with his special food instructions and the whole routine along with my other dogs and bird. I am so happy that I found Nikki on Rover. I would highly recommend Nikki and I have booked future visits with her and my dogs love her.
Nikki did a wonderful job looking out for our Wheaten terrier. Missy is a nervous dog but Nikki calmed her down and they became pals. Besides feeding and walking Missy, Nikki brought in the mail each day and watered the plants and did some general tidying. She sent us photos and messages each day on our cell phones. Our dog and home looked great when we came back from our 10-day trip! Thank you, Nikki! We will ask for your help next time we go on a trip.
I had a nice meet and greet with Nikki. She is very nice and my dogs like her. She told me a little about herself and it is great that she is a trained vet tech. One of my dogs is blind and has diabetes and needs insulin shots 2 x a day along with other medications for his other conditions. This was Nikki's first visit in the evening and she did good. I do plan on scheduling other visit and overnights with her in the future.
When we go away or need sitter for couple hours we have never had a concern with Nicole watching g put babies. They always greet her when she comes in..Several sitters they have back alway and we had cOncerns ..She is a positive person and knows her animal needs..

I do not have any breed preferences. I love everyone equally. I would like to know your dogs likes and dislikes. Are they super friendly, do they not like people standing over them, are they shy with new comers or even aggressive? Does the owner have a system for their pet to meet new people? Does you pet have leash aggression, or a history of attacking other pets? That way I know to always cross the street or go down another path when I see someone with another pet. I am a new person and I want your pet to be as comfortable with me as possible on our first meeting so we can have a great start to our relationship.
A typical day
I enjoy hiking and walking on the beach with my dog Gracie. I often bring a toy to throw if running around is not enough exercise for her. Playing with a dogs favorite toy, chasing around the room when a dog gets the case of the zoomies, or just sitting on the couch chatting and giving loves if the dog is a cuddle bug, are just a few of my favorite activities when sitting a pup. Long walks are great for killing energy and anxiety when mom and dad are away.
