I'm 2 blocks from Central Park/Columbus Circle and 3 blocks from Riverside Park South. I'm also 3 blocks from a 24-Hr emergency Vet, and 1 block from a regular day-time Vet.
**No big dogs. Sadly, I can't watch dogs over 20 lbs :( **
During the stay, your dog can expect 4 walks a day - morning, afternoon, evening and a quick stroll before bed. The afternoon walk is usually a long one - playing in the park or a walking along the river.
Due to my small apartment, I prefer to only dog sit one dog at a time, but special circumstances come up. If I have a request I will okay this with both dog owners.
I'm happy to watch existing clients last minute, however if you're a first time client, I need Simon to meet your dog to ensure we'll have a happy stay.
I LOVE dogs & I think they can sense that I will keep them happy & safe. I'm a Project Manager and work during the day, with an awesome dog walker who provides a lunchtime walk for Simon and your pup.
I am loving, gentle and your dog is sure to warm up to me quickly. I used to be a volunteer for NYPAWS, and have excellent references should you request them.
I have a roommate (also named Simon) who is rarely home but also loves dogs!
My dog is my BFF. He is a 12 lb terrier mix (Jack Russell/Schnauzer) and is my baby! He adores people and other dogs. He is calm indoors and has a sweet nature, and can run faster than any dog I've ever seen. He is neutered, and up to date on all his vaccinations.
At this time I can only watch small dogs (under 20 lbs) and potty trained dogs - no wee-wee pads please. Also, if your dog is reactive to noise and barks at foot traffic, may not be the best fit as I live by the elevator. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
