I am an experienced dog owner of over 10 years! I have primarily worked with an extra-large dog that suffered from separation anxiety, a mistrust in adult men, and aggression towards children/other animals. In other words, I have dealt with arguably the worst combination of traits seen in an animal. That being said, I have never loved anything as much as him. He has taught me to be patient and understanding and I strive to work with more stray adoption cases. I also realize that most other dog owners have it much easier than I had it, which allows me to come prepared to deal with a variety of different cases. I live in a fully-detached house in Acton that is centred in a quiet neighbourhood and love showing affection by taking them out of the house to experience the outdoors. If your dog is hesitant or aggressive to other animals, I choose to walk around the neighbourhood, off of the main road where it is quieter to roam. My home is relatively quiet, with just one other adult living in the home. The house is never loud and is kept clean. There is always at least one other person home, making the house feel occupied and never vacant. I don't personally use crates/barriers to keep dogs out of certain areas but if you request that you would like that and can provide me with the necessary items, I am happy to comply. The only restrictions I have is that I would like to work with dogs that are potty-trained and that don't bite. Overall, I am just a huge dog-lover who wants to be surrounded with the positive energy that they bring and I hope to brighten their day any way possible.
