About john

8 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I began my dog-sitting company, Nicks K-9 Palace, in Rancho Cucamonga, California, because I truly love being around animals. I have a great passion for taking care of dogs of all sizes and breeds. My dog care services are among the most professional and affordable services in the market today.

I am the proud owner of a beautiful, fully trained German Shepherd mix. I trained my dog myself using the various skills I acquired through my professional dog training career. My love for animals is what guided me to this field of work. I believe that at the end of the day, dogs are capable of being anyone's best friend when treated with the proper love and respect that they deserve.

I strive to meet my goals of offering my clients peace of mind when leaving their dog in my hands. I can take care of your dog for short trips or even long vacations. As a pet owner myself, I want my clients to know that your dog is in the best hands.

My home is a safe and laid back environment for pet sitting. This is a nonsmoking household with no children present. I have a fenced in back yard that offers your pooch a lot of room to run and play. The dogs I watch are allowed on the bed and furniture. Rest assured your dog will sleep inside, wherever it is they feel most comfortable. I understand that dogs tend to have their own specific spots where they like to curl up and relax.

Dropoff was fine and my dog seemed to get along fine with the others. John seemed to know his stuff as a dog trainer. Upon pickup, John said my dog hadn't been eating well, but it wasn't until I came home that I found only one of the meals I had packaged was eaten, the rest were still there... meaning that for three days he had eaten only once. Perhaps he was fed other food during that time, but I had stressed not to give him other food... either way there was no update or message during those three days. Seems like a nice host but with quite a few other dogs in his house it must be hard to get more individual attention.

I was very happy to find someone like John to watch my two huskies. They can be a bit of a handful, so having someone with a training background was an added benefit. I was nervous leaving my "babies" for the first time, but John responded very quickly to my questions and put my mind at ease. His property has plenty of room for active dogs to play. They must have had a great time because boy were they tired out when I picked them up!
