About Henrietta (Nelly)

30 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I grew up with dogs and cats as my Mom was a pet lover. So when I got my very own dog in 1999 I will admit that I spoiled him. Then he passed away 6 years ago, so started helping Rotten Rottie Recuse. I even adopted a large friendly Rottie from them. I received training lessons on using place, down and release from very good trainers. When the weather permits we love to take our furry friends for swimming in the pool. Also play time is a really big part of the evening routine. After swimming and playing they will get to enjoy home made biscuits that I make from natural ingredients that healthy for our furry friends. I will love yours just like my own.

Good as always
Nelly was so nice and friendly and we could tell she really loved dogs! She took great care of our dog Django and took him for us on a very short notice and after meeting her we were even more comfortable. We are extremely pleased and will be contacting her again in the future. She sent a lot of pictures of how he was doing throughout his stay and we could tell he was having a blast. Thank you again Nelly!! :)
Henrietta was the best. We booked this reservation late notice the night before and she was extremely accommodating. The pictures and videos she sends throughout the day are great as it shows that my pet was in good spirits and was being very well taken care of. Was a great experience and would recommend to everyone!
Nelly is awesome! Max had a great time and came home happy. Nelly sent pictures and video every day. Our second visit with Nelly!
Henrietta made me feel very comfortable leaving my doggie with her ... she was sending me pic of my doggie on a daily basis. I highly recommend her and I trust her with myla my pitbul.
Great as usual!

This is the first pet sitting service I have used, but I have had many different friends watch my dogs with unsuccessful results to say the least. So you can imagine how nervous I was to leave them with a stranger. I seen Nelly's profile and decided to reach out. I met her at her house so we could meet and talk about how the process worked. I felt very comfortable with her right away. She was knowledgeable about animals and seemed so genuine. I decided to give her a try. My husband and I took the dogs for a meet and greet. We got to meet her husband, James and talk with them both. We agreed we really liked them and left the dogs for five days. I have never felt so comfortable with someone watching my dogs. She sent daily pictures and videos. My mind was completely at ease which was so nice especially because I had a lot on my plate already. When we returned to get the dogs, I could not have been any happier. My dogs were safe and taken very good care of. Nelly also had made them the cutest bandanas, and homemade all natural treats. Her husband James even dressed up as Santa and took a picture with them. Adorable! I highly recommend Nelly and her services. I will never take my dogs anywhere else again. My husband and I can go on vacations without worrying because we know our babies are taken care in the best possible way.
Great experience from start to stop. Henrietta did a great job of caring for Cowboy, and he loved hanging out with Nelly too. We were stuck at the SFO airport late during our return to the area, and we were still able to pick up our dog. When we picked up Cowboy, Henrietta gave us some home made dog cookie treats to take home for Cow. Really a great experience all around.
Henrietta was an absolutely amazing host. I can not recommend her highly enough. She was in constant contact, sending pictures, updates, and even offered to allow me to stop by and visit my little one regularly. If you have any doubts at all, please take my word for it that you will not find anyone better to watch your pet!
Reading Nelly's profile, there was something about it that had me convinced she loved dogs. She described how she slowly introduces the dogs until they show signs of being comfortable with each other. I decided to request a meet & greet. Blue was excited to meet Nelly and her family. He was comfortable immediately and she gave him a homemade dog treat. I knew we found his home away from home, which was important as this was his first time being boarded. While out of town I received texts of pictures and video of Blue (which was comforting), who seemed really happy to have made some new friends. My kids loved receiving the daily texts about their beloved Blue. Blue looked so happy I wasn't sure he'd even want to come home, but when we picked him up, he decided to give us another chance.
Nelly and her husband James were wonderful hosts for our Rottie, Max. Nelly sent pictures daily and even some video of Max while we were gone. I highly recommend them. They are true dog lovers. Janeen & Chris
Henrietta provided lots of updates, which was good. My dog had anxiety, and the fact that she was with them the whole time seemed to help. They seemed less stressed than when I have to board them at the vet.
