I'm an experienced pet owner and animal lover and would love to watch your fur babies while your away!
My husband and I have one senior boy, a cocker spaniel poodle mix, named Fozzie who is fixed, extremely laid back, and very friendly. We also have 3 cats so, for everyone safety and my sanity, I do not accept dogs that are extremely cat aggressive. Playful chasing is fine; my cats are very use to dogs.
For overnight stays, I have a large pet friendly (puppy proofed) spare room with lots of toys and comfy places to sleep were guest dogs stay when we are away from home (dogs would be kenneled in that room if they are crate trained). I do work a Monday-Friday 9-5 job, My husband gets home at 3 and lets the dogs out, and I can come home at lunch to relieve them if needed. In the mornings, evenings, and weekends the animals get my undivided attention. Being separated for you is difficult on them, so I try to keep things fun and active (as active as age and medical issues allow). I only watch dogs from one family at a time which means they get a lot of one on one attention.
Its important to me that your dog feels like part of the family while your away. We go on daily walks either at a nearby park or the nature center and love to go to the local dog beach. You would get pictures and updates as often as you desired. I feel like it’s a much homier and less stressful situation for dogs than a kennel. We have had dogs stay anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. My goal is be your go to whenever you have to be away from your fur babies. I want my clients to have peace of mind while they are away that their pet is getting plenty of TLC.
