About Jackie

40 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
One of the photos is me about 52 years ago (the one sitting in the red pants).... I always loved dogs and 'begged and begged' my parents as a little girl for one of my own! Guess what, I won :-)

Your dog(s) will surely love it here with our big family! Our dogs and teenage children absolutely love dogs (just like their mom)! We have an acre of property that your dog(s) can enjoy. I am a jogger and take turns with all the dogs around the block each day (one at a time, naturally). If your dog is not a fan of my slow pace jogging, I love to walk as well! You tell me. I am a Homemaker and am home, with the exception of picking up one of my children or to run a quick errand. I have had dogs since I was a little girl and just never stopped having and loving them. Rescue Cockapoo 10, Chaz, and our 4 year old Doxie Rescue mix, Selena... she will bark the first 15 minutes your dog arrives, but after that she stops barking (I would never take other dogs in if she did this the entire time!) Selena is a sweetie and will NEVER, EVER BITE, despite that bark!). Alot of attention is spent on all the dogs that enter through this house. Our own dogs are shock collared trained, so when your special pup wants to 'get away', they will have no problem with alone time and can sleep outside of the large kitchen area (either in our foyer where I can have an extra bed set up. I don't even mind having a dog in my bed... and seriously, neither do my kids, if that's what your dog is use to). Hope to see you soon :-)

About this sitter:
My name is Jackie and I LOVE DOGS. Trust in me that your dog(s) will be well taken care of during their stay in our spacious home and yard. My teen children and other dogs are as friendly as can be! I will always send pictures to the owners while they're away!!! In my profile are photos of some repeat dogs that I have hosted.

I have a 2 night minimum. Also, I have been watching dogs on DogVacay for a while now and I have decided to add this... Due to HS children needing to get to sleep early & having to wake up at 5:30 a.m., Drop off and pick up times are between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Example: if you want your dog here prior to 9:00 a.m., please bring him/her over the night before. If you cannot pick your dog up by 9:00 p.m., please pick him/her up the next day (adding a night on the Dog Vacay site) Thank you for your understanding!

$45 per night, 2nd dog $25 per night (I would need to make a 'custom' quote for 2nd dog, since DogVacay automatically charges $45 for 2nd dog). Holiday rates $50 per night

Jackie cared for my Lab and elderly Chihuahua for more than a week while we were far away. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She and her family truly love dogs and it shows. I got so many photo and text updates that I never worried once about my dogs while they were "vacationing" at Jackie's. She was able to get my little dog to eat much better and more consistently than I can, and made sure she got all the necessary doses of her 2 meds. She took my big one for jogs with her, which he absolutely loved. Jackie's home is spacious and spotless, with a big backyard and patio that the dogs love. She did more than care for our dogs - she loved them like members of her own canine family. Any dog that stays with Jackie and her family is lucky and I look forward to having mine go to her again!
