I'm a 32 year old professional living in Morningside Heights (Upper-Upper West Side) in New York City. I work in Film/Media and my partner is a doctoral candidate at Columbia University. Our apartment is very clean, has high ceilings and big windows facing the courtyard. It's located 5 blocks from Central Park and 2 blocks from Riverside Park. It could not be more ideal for a dog, unless we were living in the countryside with 10 acres of fenced-in land!
Our dog, Liam, is the definition of a well mannered, warmhearted companion, who we adopted from a shelter in the south of France while living there last year. My partner has had dogs all her life (mainly Spaniels) and I have had them off and on since I was an infant.
When we adopted Liam, he was already a senior dog. Nevertheless, it provided me with my first opportunity/experience in dog training. Although he was house-broken, he had never been walked on-leash and did not respond to any basic commands. Successfully training him is one of my proudest achievements, disproving the old adage "you can't teach an old dog new tricks." He is still learning new tricks and commands, even to this day!
I work mainly from home and am flexible for a meet n greet to make sure that you feel comfortable leaving your lovely dog with me during your time away. I hope to speak with you soon!
I will treat your dog as if he were my own, with the utmost care and compassion.
All the best,
