My husband and I are empty-nesters. We have one dog, Molly, who is 100 lbs of love and fluff. She is a Great Pyrenees and Collie mix.
We both work full-time but can take care of your dog(s) sometimes on weekends or around holidays. On weekdays, Tom and/or I come home once or twice a day to let Molly go potty and give her some attention. If your dog is one who can be left alone for a few hours like Molly, we might be able to do weekdays when you are in a pinch.
We do not allow big dogs on the furniture and no dogs in our bed. Other than that, they are free to roam the house as long as they do not chew things up or mess in the house. In the case of a dog who is not house-broken or one that would chew our furniture, we would have to decline the visit.
Thanks in advance for being honest about your dog's behaviors and we look forward to meeting you and loving your best friend while you are away.
