About our dog: Meeka is a wonderful hostess for small dogs. She loves them! She gets along with big dogs, but it is very iffy when inside the house. Small dogs are best for her. She is a 55 lb pit bull mix, but don't let that scare you... she is a snuggle princess. Any dog that visits our house will do exactly what Meeka does all day. We typically go on a walk during the cool part of the day (30 - 60 min), lounge around, eat, and sniff around the fenced in back yard.

About our house: The main living area, kitchen and bedroom are on the bottom level. So, if your dog has trouble with stairs, then it's not a big deal! We have a HUGE fenced in back yard with neighboring dogs on both sides. Meeka likes to run the fence with the neighbor dogs. We have never had a dog get in (or out) of our fence to date (even a little 6 lb Morkie).

About us: Both JohnNy and I (Molly) have owned dogs since childhood. While we were dating and in college, we both missed having a dog so much that we adopted Meeka 2 weeks after getting home from our honeymoon! Meeka is well loved, fed (but not too much), and cared for. We would love to do the same for your dog!
