About Beverly

35 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
We are in our 50's and we love our dogs Katie 11yr lhasa apso and Rocky 1yr mix maltese/yorkie/shih tzu. they are pretty spoiled. love animals and seems like all animals like me. I have kept other dogs before for family from 2 to 80 pounds. would love to keep your fur babies for you. I treat mine like I do my own kids very over protective. I am home most of the time. We have a very large back yard and have plenty of room to run and play. I have also kept children in my home for 19 years so that tells you a little about me if people loved me keeping their children, but no longer keep children at this time just grand babies.

I desperately needed to meet my hubby for a weekend away since he works out of town or out state....but i had a new 4 mth old standard poodle pup, and an senior Airedale who was on medication and neither could be left with our regular sitter or check in person because they would need extra attention due to puppyhood and one about to enter ACL surgery...so when someone mentioned this app i couldn't imagine using a stranger- i say all this because Beverly was absolutely not a stranger the minute we connected and I was instantly able to know that the dogs would be in great hands! I am extremely close to my dogs so this was super important as none of mine are ever boarded - Beverly kept us up to date and it just made my trip so special knowing my dogs were safe- they were part of the family this weekend and I now consider Beverly a friend- i would 100% bring them back to her because they were just the best - Im late in getting my review in only because i was technically challenged in finding where to review and then got sidetracked- they arent all like Beverly so i strongly suggest this be who you use ! A wonderful resource for those who adore their dogs and consider them family - thank you SO much Beverly!!!
Hands down the best out there! If you're looking for a dog sitter, look no further...seriously. Beverly was amazing! She kept us updated through lots of fun photos and we could tell our dog enjoyed every minute of her vacay.
Beverly was wonderful with our pup. She sent the cutest pictures which we enjoyed viewing while on our trip. Beverly was very easy to work with on drop off and pick up, we appreciated this. Thank you Beverly!
Beverly did a great job with Fritz and sent us several photos even though he only stayed with her for about 24 hours!
This is the first time I used Dogvacay, the reservation process was very easy to do. I made my reservation and Beverly contacted me right away and we met before the stay day so my puppy, Lucy would be familiar with her surrounding. Beverly was great, she showed us around and took us to the backyard where Lucy was going to play. Lucy right away became friends with their doggie Rocky and started to play, it was wonderful to see that she felt right at home. The day we drop her off, Lucy was excited to go and play with her new friends. Beverly sent us photos every day and let us know how she was doing. I would not go to any other place to take my Lucy. I highly recommend Beverly to take care of your 4 legged baby.
Lacy is 7 years old and a 89# American Bulldog. She appears intimidating, but is just a big baby. Because of her looks, the only people we could get to watch her when we went out of town was a vet. She is always dehydrated when we pick her up, and we know she is locked in a cage except for a couple of 20 minute walks each day. We haven't traveled much because of that. Now, we've found Beverly and Doug with Doggy Vacay. They are great people, and what an awesome job they did with our big baby girl. We got pics showing Lacy playing with their dog, eating, sleeping, outside and inside their home, and just being the normal happy Lacy. We didn't worry about her one bit because Beverly kept us informed as to how she was doing via several very good pics and text messages each day we were gone. We could tell she was having a fun time on her vacation as well. Beverly and Doug took all the concern about being away and her being cared for properly totally away, and we were able to totally enjoy our trip. We will most certainly be traveling more, and will feel very comfortable leaving her with Beverly and Doug in the future.
Scout and Dixie Mae had a wonderful time here! My usual dog sitters were unavailable, but Beverly and Doug took outstanding care of Scout and Dixie Mae. I could tell from the pictures they regularly sent that they had a great time. Both dogs were very tired when I picked them up. Beverly and Doug are now on my list of regular dog sitters.
Ms. Beverly kept my two babies over spring break. I was constantly getting photos of how much fun they were having. Just seeing that they were being treated like they would if they had been home made me very happy. I definitely recommend her if you need a place for your dogs to go. I liked the fact that she had our dogs meet before our trip. I know that Tobie made a friend and already is missing him.
Beverly is great. My Phoenix is a young lab and she really took him in as her own. I am a former dog vacay sitter from Houston and wasn't sure what I could find in the Lindale area. I was very happy to find Beverly. I loved getting updates on Phoenix and my son was very happy with our sitter choice for his pup. We have already booked her again.
Sam had a wonderful vacay and I'm so happy! It was nice to enjoy the holidays with our family knowing that Sam was happy and being well taken care of. We really enjoyed receiving pictures of Sam while we were away. Sam loves playing with other dogs and we were glad he had Beverly's sweet dog to play with. It was a great experience and we will use them again!
What a blessing to be able to leave your 4 legged children in a place where you know the hosts are kindred spirits. We have 2 four legged girls. They both are in different stages in their lives. Star was in a good place, but was not given human affection in her 2 1/2 years. Was in a kennel with a sister, but just no human contact. We adopted her after she lost a liter of pups. So we took her out of the only place she knew plus having lost her babies, she was an extremely timid. She has been with us 10 months, so a lot of bonding, but still very timid. Our other girl is a 10 month old black lab who is pushing 80 pounds and is quite a handful. She was adopted as a pup, but very little good habits. She was an addition to our family to help Star come out of her shell. Which she has done quite well when they are at home. When out of their habitat, Star can close up her shell and refuse to eat or drink. So the hosts were not given the best of circumstances with our girls. We warned them prior to taking them, just wanted to make sure they knew what they were getting into.

Well, as things turned out, they bonded in the very beginning and was well taken care of. We got pictures and videos of our girls playing, being loved on and every concern we had went out the window. I knew they were in a good situation and we had to more worries while we were away.
Great Experience! My dogs were treated like members of the family. I had great communication from Beverly. It was nice to see my dogs settled in and enjoying themselves. I will definitely consider letting Beverly watch my dogs again.
