My Puppy Pad is the place to be for all small and medium sized dogs (50 pounds max). I live in an apartment in Stuytown with two other roommates who are previous dog owners as well. I do not currently have my own dog, which means your pup will have more space to stretch their legs. My apartment is just steps away from large green areas and the East River Bikeway, which is perfect for long walks and runs.
I have a great deal of experience working with animals of all types. I was actually a foster parent for capuchin monkeys back in boston for over 18 years (Helping Hands Monkeys). Additionally, I have lived with and cared for dogs for 21+ years. I am proficient in administering injections and oral medication. I have plenty of experience dealing with little 'trouble-makers' and would be happy to help with behavioral training if you would like. I am available 24/7 and enjoy sending status updates over extended periods of time. Additional services include walking/running, pick up and drop off, and bathing for additional charges.
As a full time employee working in the city, I am unable to properly care for a dog during the week. However, there is nothing I miss more than having a dog by my side to keep me company when I just want some alone time. Caring for animals is my passion and I will treat your dog as I would my own. I know how difficult it can be to say goodbye, but when you chose me to care for your dog, they will be barking to come back another time!
***I currently offer doggy daycare (in addition to overnight boarding)! I’d be happy to keep your pup entertained while you’re away for the day.
