Hi, I'm Michelle! I'm a 30-year-old food blogger/freelance writer and I'm originally from the Midwest. I grew up in an animal-loving house; fish, cats, and most importantly to me, my dogs! Since I relocated to Charlotte in 2014, I've missed the daily companionship that my Black Lab, Dakota, and German Shepherd/Huskie, Romeo, give to me - and I would love to fill that void by helping care for your dog when you need it! Both of my dogs are older now, but I played a very active role in training/caring for them from the second we brought them home. I love all dogs - big, small, whatever breed they may be. My weekly schedule is typically very flexible because I work from home, so I am often around during the day to take them for walks/bathroom breaks/etc! I'm an active person who loves getting outside as much as possible, so I would make sure they'd get plenty of exercise throughout the day. I live on the first floor of a three-story apartment building, and have about 1200-square-feet, so there is plenty of room for your dog to run around, or find a quiet place to lay down. I also have a good-sized porch that is safe, and closed in so they'd be able to spend some time out there as well. I live across the street from a large park, and there is plenty of green space around my complex as well. I also offer dog sitting on a daily and/or nightly basis at my or the owners home, along with dog walking, hiking and trips to the park. I can pick your dog up, take them on a long hike or to the dog park, or just hang with them at your house, whether for the afternoon or overnight! I also feel extremely comfortable helping your dog out in anyway they'd need - giving medication, bathing/grooming, vet trips - I've done it all, and would absolutely treat your dog as if they are my own so they feel safe and at home.
