Pet care experience
I grew up with a chow chow and we eventually had a family cat as well, so I have experience in caring for both dogs and cats. Four years ago, I fostered a large dog named Chopper, who was a sweet angel but had some previous trauma and thus showed aggression to males and other dogs in general. It was really tough learning Chopper's needs, especially because I was doing in by myself. I fostered him for one month before finding him a loving home and learned so much in the process. I understand the nature of dogs and truly enjoy interacting with them! I've always wanted to get my own pet, but I don't have the space for it right now - this is a perfect alternative! Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am just getting started on this website, so I don't have testimonials, but I'm happy to do a meet and greet before a booking if needed.

When it comes to caring for doggies, it's important to keep as much of a normal routine for them to minimize stress and/or separation anxiety. The goal is to make it as easy as possible for the pet to adjust to their temporary new routine.

Information Melina K. would like to know about your pet
It's important for me to know what preferences you have for the times your dog is fed and walked. Since my goal is to mimic their normal schedule as much as possible, I'd love to have an idea of what a normal day looks like for your dog and if there are any quirks I should be aware of.
A typical day
I have a large backyard where I love to run around with dogs to wear them out! It's easy to play fetch or find a stick/rock to play with. My friend brings her lovely dog Bella to play in the backyard weekly, and she is always exhausted when she goes back home.
