I DO IT ALL! Hikes, walks, runs(limited to 3 miles), swims, trips to the dog park, crating, and of course, snuggles, regardless of size!
I work with a rescue for canines and equines that rehabs behavioral issues. I am currently going to school for Equine Health and Sciences (a vet specifically for horses).
I am patient, confident, attentive and detail oriented. My goal is to provide your dog with exercise, supervision and a whole bunch of fun! An active dog is a happy dog!
My home has a large tiled downstairs that they will have free roam of. I have a large fenced backyard with a pool(if your dog likes to swim, I'm totally alright with that! I'll hop right in with them!). In the backyard they will be supervised at all times, as the pool could be a potential danger.
I can crate inside. If your dog is FULLY potty trained, they are more than welcome to sleep in my room/bed. As my room is carpeted, if your dog has potty issues, we have a tiled 10x20 laundry room that I would require them to sleep in, or be crated next to my bed if they have separation issues.
I have my own dog, her name is Pippa. She is a two year old Dachshund/Jack Russel mutt. She is great with other dogs, we adventure with other pups at the dog park multiple times weekly. She is in the process of getting registered as a Therapy Dog!
I use "Cesar's Way" and "Dog Psychology" as a guide for how I interact with my and any other dog. I understand that every dog is different and I accommodate to each dog individually.
