At Maya's Furry Friends we have personal experience with caring for a wide variety of animals including; Dogs, Cats, Birds, Reptiles, Aquatic animals, and other small mammals such as hamsters, rabbits and gerbils. We care for your animals as if they were our own, we take pride in our work and strive to make you and your pets happy and comfortable! We have always enjoyed working with animals, and pets of various kinds have been a part of our family for as long as I can remember! As a pet owner I understand how stressful it can be going on vacation or just going to work and having to leave your furry friend at home, or having to find someone to watch them. What makes us happy is being able to provide a service to pet owners that will eliminate the stress of leaving your loved pet at home while at work or on vacation. When we get a new customer we make them a file that we will have on hand that includes the owners name and contact information as well as the pets name(s) and personal information which includes the current veterinarian and their contact information as well as a feeding schedule and any medications that would need to be administered. We ask for an emergency contact to be provided in case we cannot get in contact with the owners in the case of an emergency. Once that file has been made we can continue to discuss what type of service you need. We provide "day care" or check-ins while the owners are at work or away during the day. This can include a variety things such as potty breaks, feedings, medication, play time, and walks. We also provide services for vacations. Depending on your pets needs and the duration of your trip we will discuss how many visits a day you would like and what services you need us to provide for your home and your pet. In addition to your pets we will clean up poop from the yards as well as water plants and check the mail while you are away upon request.
