About Mark

8 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi!
Professor and I would love to host your four-legged friend in our home (by the way, Professor is my dog's name ;-) Our one-bedroom apartment is spacious with lots of sunlight and has a calm and happy vibe. Professor is very well behaved and he loves making new friends. He's a happy-go-lucky kind of guy.

I'm a graphic designer and I work from home, so your pup will never be alone for any extended time. I'm also a runner and bike everywhere.

Professor and I go on walks three times a day. If the weather permits, we also go to a dog park 2-3 times a week. The parks we hit up most are the Herbert Von King dog run, as well as the off-leash times at Prospect Park and Fort Greene Park. Your dog is going to have a great time with us.

We usually only host one dog at a time, except if it's two dogs from the same household.

If you have any questions, feel free to send us a message, or schedule a meet-and-greet. We'd love to hear from you!

Mark has a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with lots of sunshine that your pup will love! Your pup will also have the company of his sweet and calm dog, Professor. Since Mark works at home, your pup will be spoiled with love and affection!
Mark & the Professor were great on updates before and during the stay. Mark was really super about ensuring he was ready for Wally during our pre-visit and prepared for everything. Wally had some separation issues and we were able to discuss them and try to figure out a solution; we truly appreciate his communication and patience!

Mark is amazing. Hands down best dog-sitting experience we've ever had!
Mark was a great host for my super energetic 1.5 year old puppy. I had reservations leaving Zeus at a stranger's house for 2 weeks but when I met Mark and the Professor I knew right away Zeus would be cared for and have a great time. Mark is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with dogs. I received timely updates from Zeus' stay and returned to a happy dog. I would definitely recommend Mark and the Professor!

We have an older, hyperactive frenchie with special needs and we could not have been happier with our experience with Mark. Our pup seemed so happy and content when we came home and not at all stressed. Would recommend him for anything!
Mark was extremely nice accommodating a last minute outing on Mother's day. Butterscotch and Professor had a great time playing together for the entire day. Two thumbs up all around.
Mark was an excellent pet sitter. He's very personable and his dog, the Professor, couldn't be sweeter with other dogs and people. We met at a dog park in advance and Mark was very flexible about when I could pick up/drop off Blanche and Stella. They're old and quirky--afraid of stairs, for example--and Mark was happy to accommodate their needs. He kept me informed about their well-being and they seemed to be happy staying there. I'd definitely recommend Mark to any pet owner.
