About Mariya

10 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi there! My name is Mariya, I'm a 20 y.o female born and raised in Siberia, Russia and currently living in SF. I'm a student at Hult International Business School (Junior year starting from January) and have been living in SF for 2 years and in New York for 1 year before that. I've had 2 dogs in my life - a miniature Toy Terrier for 2 years and a Pekingese for 8 years. Both of them were given to me as New Year gifts, so I was the one responsible for taking care of them including walking, feeding, training and bathing. Also, both of them had some serious surgeries done, so I have experience of taking care of pre/post surgeries as well. Many relatives and friends of mine are dog owners too, so basically I've been surrounded by pups my whole life.
I share a one-bedroom apartment with a pet-friendly roommate who's also a dog lover on the 16th floor in a very new building in the middle of the city. There is some space to play with the dog in the living room/outside in the park or to chill with me on my bed in the bedroom. There is also a special ground to walk dogs 2 min away from the building, so potty breaks are not a problem.
I can play with a dog using pet toys if it's provided by the owner or fool around having fun with a pet. If a dog is not very active, I can pet it while I'm reading, watching a movie or doing homework so we can cuddle and lay down in bed. I don't really have any restrictions, but the dog shouldn't be aggressive and all the necessary vaccines should be done.
I have always been a dog lover and I am looking forward to meet new pups! Dogs help me to relax and spending time with them makes me feel better. Since I'm a student, it is very stressful sometimes with homework and a job (I work occasionally entertaining children on their birthday parties, so it can be pretty tiring). But what can be better than to come home after where is a pup waiting for you? Can't think of anything!

Mariya has been babysitting my baby William since I got it, over a year ago. I can't say anything but how great of a help she is when it comes to taking care of him and how much he loves her. She loves pets as much as humans, maybe even more than people. And she treats them like kids. Giving your dog to Mariya, you can be assured that your baby under a good care!

Mariya did such a great job with my dog!! She sent lots of pictures and updates which was reassuring while I was out of town! She was so sweet with him and gave him lots of cuddles which he loves. I would absolutely use her services again and recommend her for others!
Mariya was a great dog host for Max. She made sure he was comfortable, got lots of play time, and kept us apprised of how he was doing the whole time. I could tell she really cared about Max and the other dog she was hosting - we look forward to having her host our dog again in the future.
Our dogs had a great time with Mariya for doggy daycare! She is very responsive to inquires and our dogs loved her. She made sure to keep us updated throughout their stay.
Mariya was a fantastic host! She took great care of our little one and sent us multiple pics daily keeping us updated on how Pepper was doing. It made our week away on vacation stress-free and relaxing. We will definitely be requesting her services again in the future!
Mariya was an EXEMPLARY overnight sitter for my two dogs, Chewie and Nala. She sent me lots of photos, took them on lots of walks, and gave them all the cuddles they needed (ehem, note my use of 'needed', they are high maintenance cuddlers) while I was out of town.

I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a puppy sitter!

(and Chewie and Nala!)
