Maria has been an animal enthusiast since childhood. She was allowed to adopt her first dog when she was four and the rest is history. Currently she is a pet mom to two dogs named, Holly & Kiley & three cats named Billy, Maggie Mae & Minerva aka Mini. Dogs & Cats are both individually unique animals who bring us so much joy and they deserve the best care possible. Maria loves to give snuggles, play, build confidence & provide loving support and care to cats and dogs when you're not there. Your pets will be treated with patience, dignity and love. Medication administration is available except for injections. I am familiar with most breeds of dog and if I'm not, I research. It's extremely important to be familiar with common breed traits and to understand an animals personality, their health, wellbeing, likes & dislikes. ​Maria is proud to be certified in Pet First Aid & CPR for cats & dogs by the American Red Cross. Maria is an extremely caring person who has taken wonderful care of my 3 dogs (one is a puppy) 2 cats and a bird. She sent me pictures, was always on top of their needs and kept me updated. The warm welcome they always give her is evidence of the care she gives. I would highly recommend her.
I highly recommend Maria for all of your pet sitting needs! Maria has taken care of both of my dogs in a dog walking capacity, and over the course of an overnight away, with several walks and a few feedings. A typical day
When walking your dog, I require they wear ID & rabies tags at all times. I pick your dog up, get them geared up and we walk around your neighborhood. For the safety of the public, myself and your dog(s), I stay vigilant in regards to traffic, people and other animals we may come across. That being said, we stick to ourselves, sniff and get to business. I always clean up, carry first aid supplies and if needed, reinforce obedience.
