I'm a long time volunteer with Friends of the Homeless Animals and PAWS (Pioneers for Animal Society) and I have three rescue dogs of my own. I love dogs and we have a very pet friendly home, My dogs are very welcoming and have been great with the dozens of foster dogs we',ve had in and out of our house over the last decade.
We decided to try boarding in our home-- we know how difficult it is to go away and worry about your pet. We have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs--when we take in fosters dogs we often know nothing about them. Our goal is always to give the dogs space and time to relax and feel comfortable. I've done everything from giving insulin shots to oral vaccines. I've had dogs with separation anxiety, dementia, dog aggression--you name an issue, I've had a foster dog with it!,
My 8 year old son is very good – he doesn't approach dogs he doesn't know and has learned from early age to leave them alone.
We've enjoyed our foster dogs and are happy to help out by boarding in our home. I'm happy to send photos or videos and stay in touch so that you know your pet is happy and safe.
