About Saylor

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi, this Saylor

My home is a "Doggie's home sweet home away from home". I live on the Upper West Side on 92nd Street and West End Ave.

To have Riverside Parka a block away from home is such a beautiful and energetic experience forme and all ofme doggie friends tha I care for.

I designed my home to offer a doggie care service of which provides a sensitive bond that builds a friendship with your pet and of course you; All of these are key for a safe, reliable and professional service.

I named my pet service, "LeashWalks". I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,
Saylor

Saylor is great. He sent lots of photos, was very responsive and Milo came home happy!
Saylor was awesome! He was super flexible with drop off and pick up times, extremely communicative, and clearly gave my dog lots of attention (and walks) while I was away. I'll be using Saylor on my next trip, definitely.
Saylor was amazing. We could tell that Winston had the best time over the weekend at Saylors and loved the company of having another dog there too (Maicy). Winston came home very happy. We would definitely use Saylor again in the future. He is very responsive, and he makes sure to send plenty of photos!

Our little Boddington is a bit of a special case -- he requires an insulin shot for Diabetes and needs to relieve himself often due to Cushings. Saylor's dog expertise and fantastic care are why we were able even to consider going on our trip. Thank goodness we were able to find him!

Saylor was fantastic!! He took great care of my 11 month old puppy Moose for 2 nights and Moose came back so happy! We got multiple daily updates and pics, and Saylor himself was a pleasure to work with. I definitely recommend him and will work with him again!

Saylor is a professional who will meet all of your dog's needs. I appreciated that he met us in the park a few days in advance for a quick meet & greet. Cody's transition to Saylor went quickly & smoothly & the visit went very well. Saylor sent pics & updates. Cody made a new dog friend, Chester, and a new human friend, Saylor. I highly recommend Saylor. Your dog will be in excellent hands.

Lola was very happy at Saylor's. She made friends and came home calm and rested. Saylor sent me pictures of her and was very responsive and accommodating. He's a pro!
Very accommodating -- and I loved the pictures he sent. Thanks
Super nice and professional, Chloe was so happy! Thank you so much.
Saylor took care of Molly twice already. He sent us pics of Molly every day and was super accommodating when it came to pick up and drop off times. I could tell Molly was very at ease with him and had a good time while at his apartment. Definitely recommend him!

Saylor was great! So kind to my puppy and very accommodating to her needs and my schedule. He sent me pictures regularly to keep me updated on her stay. I will definitely look to Saylor next trip I have.
I needed an overnight solution for our dog Chester, with me dropping off and my fiancé picking up. I was juggling a lot between home and work that week, and knew that I just had to say "help" because I couldn't get it all done myself. Saylor was great! It is fantastic to work with someone like Saylor that is 100% focused on pet care. He was responsive and flexible about our meet up time. He sent me pics of Chester, who was clearly relaxed in his care, Best of all he asked me a lot of questions, which put me at ease because he really wanted to understand as much as he could about Chester's personality. When my fiancé and his daughter came to pick Chester up, he took pics of their reunion. That is someone who understands both dogs and people! It was a big leap for me to leave Chester with a new dog sitter for the first time, but now that I know how gentle Saylor is, and how experienced he is caring for dogs, will absolutely use Saylor again.

A seamless stay. Saylor is great.
Saylor was attentive and accommodating and has a great calming disposition. Our dog Magee showed no signs of "clingy" thereafter --- which is always a good sign ! ! ! We would def use Saylor again !
Saylor was SO wonderful and accommodating. He was wonderful about our last minute booking, and sent us many updates throughout Sim's one night stay. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone!
The first few times our dog, Wally, stayed with Saylor, we really liked him. He seemed so affectionate and Wally loved him. But, after a few visits, we started to suspect he wasn't spending much time with the dogs at home anymore -- Wally would come home anxious and Saylor never seemed to be home when we wanted to pick him up. This most recent visit was the worst. Just a day after bringing him home, we had to take Wally for a $450 emergency vet visit as he had hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, a potentially life-threatening illness that arises when dogs have their diets abruptly changed. Saylor let our dog eat a puppy's food for the three days he was gone, and coming back to his regular low-calorie adult food made him dangerously sick. We're so disappointed that Saylor did not properly supervise the dogs. For the sake of other dogs, I hope that he will be more responsible in the future, but we will be taking Wally elsewhere.

My dog Skippy is a clingy Cocker Spaniel and I was worried about leaving him when I went away on a work trip. However when I returned he was very happy and seemed to enjoy his stay with Saylor and Catalina. Saylor sent me photos and updates everyday and as I live close by he even offered to pick up and drop Skippy off which I thought was such a kind gesture. I will definitely leave Skippy with Salylor and Catalina if I need to go away again.

Jeter had a wonderful staycation with Saylor. He sent pics everyday and it was clear that Jeter was well taken care of and having a great time. Thank you so much for taking care of him!!
Saylor obviously really loves dogs! I loved that he really seemed to care about Wally and his other charges and that he sent us pictures every day. Normally, when we pick up Wally from being boarded or dog-sat, he's very anxious and clingy for a whole day afterwards, because the experience is so stressful for him. But when we picked him up from Saylor's, he was his normal self from the very beginning. I could tell that his stay hadn't been stressful, which made me very happy. I will definitely be hiring Saylor and Catalina again.

Saylor took great care of our dog Lois while we were away for the weekend. He sent us pictures every day. Thanks Saylor.
My dogs had a great weekend at Saylor and Catalina's house. They kept me updated with texts and photos several times a day. They really seem to care about the dogs being happy and relaxed. I will definitely book with them again.
Saylor clearly loves dogs of all shapes and sizes and demonstrated a sincere affection for our dog, Molly.

He sent pictures and updates every day we were away and that definitely kept us feeling confident! It's always hard to leave your furry family member behind on a vacation, but you want to be able to have fun and not worry. Saylor allowed us to do that.

When we picked Molly up it was clear to us she had a pretty easy time away from us, which has not been the case when we've taken her to some other places!

All in all we'd definitely bring her back.

My dogs and I had a great experience with Saylor and Catalina. I have a 13 yr old Akita mix and a 6 yr old high energy shepherd mix and they are not city dogs. I recently came to NY for work and Saylor provided day care for their first week here. He was so patient and understanding and really made a stressful situation so much better- he really understands dogs and was very reassuring about giving them time to get adjusted. I've already made another reservation with them without hesitation as I know my dogs will be well cared for while I'm away.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of care Saylor and Catalina provided for our Great Pyrenees named "Helm"! They went out of their way to accommodate an early departure and they were prompt for both the drop off and pickup of Helm. During our vacation, we received daily photo updates and it was clear that our big furry guy was having a great time. The next time we are heading out of town we will be sure to use their services!
