My name is Melinda, pet sitting is my full time job. Most of my time is at home with my pets and the rest of my time is enjoying outdoor activities with my pets. My family is very open to bringing in all types of dogs to care for. So if anything were to come up during a stay I have a reliable source to depend on. About this sitter: Caring for animals is my dream job. I've realized that caring for animals is my calling. I would love the opportunity to ease the minds of pet parents while they are away from home. I grew up with pretty much every animal you can imagine... from the “standard” dogs and cats to the exotic, including mice, gerbils, hamsters, iguanas, tropical fish, fish ponds, turtles, lovebirds, and snakes. As a volunteer at a local humane society, I walked dogs, cleaned cages, runs, and litter boxes, and did laundry. I have done pet sitting for neighbors and friends and our home now is filled with four loving dogs and two cats (all rescued). I enjoy all types of pets and am comfortable with pets of all sizes and species. I'm always happy to meet new furry friends and take care of them with the love and attention they deserve.
