I love caring for animals, and I understand their needs! My family has had multiple rescue dogs in the past, so I definitely understand various quirky behaviors these pets sometimes have. I will cater to any special treatment or behavior modifications (etc. not allowed on the couch, eating at certain times, or required tricks for treats) you have in place at your own home. I want the pets to have the same schedule they do at their own homes so they feel safe and happy!
I am a recent graduate of Kent State and have recently moved back to my childhood home in Pittsburgh. I live in a large house with a large yard. We have a trampoline, play house, gardens, open yard, and a safely enclosed chicken coop in a secluded part of a neighborhood away from the main road. There is plenty of space to run around and play with our two dogs Jim and Carl, who are extremely friendly.
I have had pets since I was a kid (dogs, cats, and chickens). I was the primary care for multiple puppies in the past couple of years, sometimes for a week or longer. I have frequently cared for my brother's dog Jim, a rambunctious corgador puppy. This care included a full week stay with me at my college home in Kent, Ohio. I made sure to send his parents a picture everyday of all of Jim's collegiate adventures (touring the lovely downtown Kent, cuddling on the couch, and walking on Campus).
