About Lynne

30 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I have been a dog/cat owner most of my life and have a great love for and respect for animals.
I have owned numerous dogs; the last two were female German shepherds who each lived to be past fourteen.

I have a dog friendly house and take a very relaxed, casual approach to having pets in my home. This means they can get up on furniture, roam freely and i will be very attentive to their needs (i.e. bathroom/yard breaks, keeping their water dishes filled, feeding on time, frequent walks, cuddle time.)

A typical day might start with a short walk, followed by feeding. A longer walk would follow closer to midday. I will not walk a dog right after a large meal. I also like to give evening walks.

My spacious home is air conditioned for dogs comfort in summer. My yard is large, securely fenced and padlocked gates.

My main concern is that every animal in my care feels safe and loved and that their owners can have peace of mind, knowing that i will give their pets the best care possible.

Lynne has looked after our heeler cross for nearly a year now when we go away. Our girl loves Lynn and her family like, well, family. Having had multiple dogs and looked after a variety of breeds, Lynne is incredibly thoughtful in terms of the way she treats your best friend. Quite simply, she knows and loves dogs. And they love her for it. 5 STARS, without reservation.

Lynne has been pet sitting our Irish Setter, Ruby for over 4 years and is amazing! She is attentive and loving and Ruby has come to know Lynne almost like a second doggie mum. We lose no sleep while traveling knowing she's in excellent care!

To Whom it may concern,
Lynne Walker graciously watched our lil dog Gypsy  (a border collie mix) when we went away for a couple weeks last year.
My dog was so happy to be visiting with her while we were gone!
I feel Lynne is one of the most exceptional "Dog People" you can find! she has such a connection with animals in general! and look forward for an opportunity to travel again and have Lynne watch our Gypsy!

Thank you

Our dogs don't just call Lynne, Lynne ... they call her Auntie! Our dogs look forward to visits from 'Auntie' Lynne and are always excited when we let them know that she will be dog-sitting when we are away. We come home and they are happy, rested, and content. I feel so fortunate that we have someone reliable, and who loves our dogs as much as we do, to look after them while we are away. Lynne will always be my number 1 choice for my boys!

Lynne walker is amazing with animals ! No matter how busy her day is, she makes time so your animal is properly cared for, even if it means her waking up at 6 am so they get a daily walk. I don't trust my dogs with many people, but I have 100% faith in her with my animals.

Lynne was attentive and accommodating to our dog's needs. She took Suki on at least one walk each day and has a large back yard where dogs can enjoy outdoor time. Her home is calm which is perfect for our shy pup. We received photos and text updates that were very much appreciated.
Lynne worked hard to ensure that my dog would have the best possible stay. Lynne is very sweet and has an extremely gentle disposition. For my excitable dog it was a perfect match. Lynne made getting enough exercise a priority and her home & yard were comfortable and beautiful. I feel lucky to have found her.
Charlie stayed at Lynne's for a few nights while we were away and was one happy puppy! She had a nice, big fenced yard to chase a ball in and went on plenty of walks. Lynne kept in contact with pictures and updates and was so attentive with our girl! This was our first time using Lynne and Charlie will definitely be coming back whenever we are away. It's nice to know we are leaving her with an active, dog loving woman like Lynne :)
It was very evident to me from the time we had our meet & greet that Lynne and her family were compassionate, understanding dog lovers. Shiloh was with Lynne over Christmas and was part of their family's traditions. They even had a stocking for him. Even though it was extremely cold during his stay, Lynne still took him for walks and played fetch (I think that was harder on Lynne than on Shiloh). The picture and message updates were great. Shiloh needed cream on his nose (a bit of a challenge to do) which Lynne did faithfully. Shiloh was made to feel like part of Lynne's family. I will definitely get ahold of Lynne again next time I'm out of town.
