Hey fellow dog-lovers! You know those people who walk past your dog like this :O :D :') , that's me.
I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and grew to love them even more growing up with a Whippet named Lucky. I became a committed member of 'team dog' when I recognized how intelligent dogs are, how sensitive they can be, how much fun we can have together, and how calming and rejuvenating it can be to have dogs around. I'm a grad student, and if you've ever done something that brings you constant stress, each day, every day, you understand how much relief a dog can bring from that stress. This is what has brought me to this beautiful community, but I also recognize how I can help relieve your stress!
Growing up with a Whippet who needed a lot of attention and exercise, I learned the joys of walking with him. I also learned about the responsibility needed to take care of a furry family member, and have become attentive to the many needs of dogs. My beloved Lucky recently passed away after a long, loving life, so I'm looking to help heal that wound by enjoying some time with other dogs.
I share a common love with dogs (no, not fire hydrants), the outdoors! I am always in search of green space and love spending my time in parks, especially when there are dogs around. A typical day with me would definitely involve some fun park play time and meeting as many dogs as your pup wants to; finally, an excuse to be at a dog park! I also really enjoy dog cuddles, so if your pup is a lap dog or an aspiring lap dog, we'll have some great times together.
Due to roommate allergies, I cannot host at my own home, but am more than willing to spend a night (or a number of nights) at your home! Since I'm a student, on the weekends I work from home, but could do this work anywhere. I have worked as a housekeeper in the past, so I guarantee your house will be look exactly as you left it when you return.
I put love and kindness into everything I do, and it would be an honour to be able to spend some meaningful time with your loved pup!
