My name is Valencia Chavez, I am 24 years old, graduated from Wells College New York in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. I am a case manager for youth and families with the San Diego Youth Services. I come from the philosophy of being Trauma Informed Care with anyone including pets. Trauma informed care is a way of making sure that I always make the person or in this case the pet feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I would love more than anything to be able to take care of your pets! To be honest, this job would help pay off my bills and debt, and to move out in 2 months to my apartment.I can assure you that I am extremely dedicated, and will do whatever it takes to prove I am the best candidate for you. First off, I am an animal lover of all animals. I used to have a cat of my very own last year before he passed away, which really helped me understand how cats really are in terms of their personalities, and their needs. As for dogs, they are the truest of creatures. I have such a love and appreciation for them, they are definitely my favorite type of pet, and I really do love them. I have been taking care of other peoples' pets for about 5 years now on and off. These pets included ferrets, snakes, birds, and even mice. Those services included baths if needed, feeding, brushing their fur, cleaning out their house or their litter, and feeding. I am very dedicated and committed when it comes to caring for another being, especially when their lives are in my hands. I would truly appreciate this opportunity to be able to work for you and take care of your pets! Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
