Having worked at an animal hospital I discovered the joys of pet sitting and visited client homes for quite a few years, however I always felt bad leaving them. When we discovered Dogvacay I jumped at the chance to nurture a pet in our own home.We look at them as our grandchildren and sometime I forget they can be left alone. We enjoy each other with a little spoiling and lots of loving and at times the real grandchildren do come and play with them .
I work from home so we are always together and that makes them comfortable right away.
Please keep in mind we don't have a fenced in yard so if that is what your pet is used to then this may not be a good fit for them. Also, we like to spend as much time as possible with our new family member . This is why we are doing this.
-Our long walks are mainly in the morning , then we go out as needed. On the longer stays I continue with puppy training you have started and especially walking on the leash without pulling. I use Ceasar's way and they respond well to it.
Sometimes I feel like Dr. Doolittle as they follow me around whether out of curiosity or fear of being alone. They also get plenty of exercise this way and they don't even know it's happening. We want them to be as comfortable as possible so they live here just as they would at home.
*I do ask that they come freshly bathed and nails cut and of course vaccines and flea treatment is a must.Thank you for considering me.
