About Helene

8 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I am Helene and my best fur buddy is Lucy. She turned 8 on October 24, 2016 and has had a magical affect on my life. Through Lucy, I have become a passionate animal lover, volunteering at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, completing all levels of animal care training and also became certified as a Vet Assistant through PBC Adult education. I am retired with a flexible schedule so your pup will have 24/7 supervision in a safe and loving environment. In my one story house your precious pup can roam the whole house, is welcome on the furniture and can sleep wherever they prefer. I also have dog steps for self assist or I will put them on whatever comfy place they show interest. Whether they want to play, explore or laze around, I guarantee lots of cuddles. As I've begun this dog sitting journey, I thank the pup parents who have entrusted me with their pup kids. Times spent together have been satisfying, fun and sometimes hysterical. I hope those of you out there who are searching for the perfect place and host, will give us the chance to share our home and our love with your precious pet. As cute and adorable they may be, accidents may happen, however, ALL DOGS MUST BE HOUSE BROKEN.
Price quotes are for a 24 hour period, as stated in DogVacay's policy. Custom quotes will be provided should the extended time exceed 2 hours.

Helene is very perceptive about people and pets. She helped me get acclimated as a first time dog owner and was extremely knowledgeable about what to expect, how to care for my dog after anesthesia and other ways to nurture my rescue terrier out of her trauma and shyness. She is resourceful and well rounded as a professional in general and she deeply understands the meaning of a dog's love in the life of any individual or family. Just like a child, when you're away, you want a caregiver for whom there is no such thing as too much love, too much attention, or too much nurturing.

Helene is an incredibly loving and reliable pet sitter. I have know her for many years and have seen her care for her Maltese Lucy with the utmost love and kindness. Having pets all her life, she is well aware of what it needed to trust someone with a beloved pet. aside from a safe and loving home, Helene provides attention, affection, and good judgement to any animal in her care. Any pet (and their person) would be lucky to spend time in Helene's home!

My Husband and I have never left our pooch with anyone other than our families and were very nervous to look for a sitter. But since we were getting married and all of our family were with us we had to find a perfect sitter for our dog.

From the moment we did a meet and greet with, Helene and her dog Lucy, we knew she was a perfect match to watch our little Nami.
She was very thorough with her paperwork to make sure she knows all of our dog, Nami's, needs as well as very loving with our dog.

Helene, sent us picture updates throughout our Nami's stay and even went out of her way to bring Nami to our wedding venue on-time (even though we were running behind schedule) so that we can take pictures with our dog for our wedding.

Even though we live in Miami, Fl, we'll definitely consider the drive up to, Helene, if we ever require a dog sitter again.
After having Helene take care of Lucy, my Maltese after my mom had passed away in November, I had no qualms to let her take care of Lucy when I went on a two week cruise with my fiancé. I got constant updates, pictures, e-mails and I even Facetimed Helene and spoke to Lucy on our cruise.
Helene is a devoted, loving, caring dog lover who will take impeccable care of your fur baby. Your doggie baby is in the best of hands.
Helene and her hubby, Dave have their own fur baby, a Maltese whose name is also Lucy. When my Lucy comes over, there are two Lucies in the house. Helene's Lucy is a sweet natured, gentle Maltese who is a total love muffin, and loves everyone, including your dog.
I wholeheartedly recommend Helene to anyone who is looking for a loving, warm and happy environment for their doggie.
After doing a Meet & Greet last month with Helene, I knew that I had to look no further. Helene is a true dog lover, takes impeccable care of her own dog and her home. When I told her that I cook chicken for my baby, Lucy who is a Maltese,
she ran over to her refrigerator and showed me her cooked chicken for her Maltese who she cooks for, and also happens to be named Lucy.
My mother passed away on 11/4/16 in Florida, and I needed someone to take care of Lucy so I could fly to NY to bury my mom in NY. Not only did Helene take Lucy on very short notice, but she actually came to my mother's funeral service in Florida.
She is an exceptional person, has a heart of gold, and would take care of your fur baby as if he/she were her own baby. Your dog could not be taken care of by anyone better than Helene.
