Laura is the ideal pet sitter. In addition to being an excellent scholar, she is a dedicated human for Archie, her family dog. As he's in another city, her boundless animal affection has been redirected towards other pets. She's also hyper-responsible and easy-going.

Laura has taken care of Archie, our mixed border collie/spaniel, many times, the longest being for six weeks while we were overseas. Archie is excitable and nervous around other dogs, but Laura helped him to enjoy the dog park safely and make lots of friends. She is careful and watchful of Archie's moods, and always makes sure he doesn't get too close to a new dog or person until he is familiar with them. Archie is also a dog who needs a lot of human companionship, and she gave him lots of cuddle and play time. Laura is a real animal person who has lots of experience with cats and dogs, and loves them all.

Hi! I'm very happy to be writing this testimonial for Laura. I've seen her interacting with two different dogs. The first one was her family pet, Archie, who was staying with her while her parents were on vacation. He's an older dog, who requires a lot of patience and kindness. She took great care of him, and was always excited to go home to hang out with him and take him for walks. The second dog was my 6-month old puppy, Lupe. When Laura visited my house the first time, Lupe, who has a temper and didn't like strangers when she was little, barked for over ten minutes. Laura was so nice and patient with her that after Lupe was done barking, she wouldn't leave Laura's side the entire evening, playing and asking (demanding) that Laura pet her. I don't trust many people with my dog, but if had to ask someone to babysit her, I would feel very comfortable to leave her in Laura's care.

Laura is an incredibly responsible person who loves dogs--young, old, large, small, active, and quiet. She loves hanging out with animals, taking them to the dog park, or letting them chill. I would leave my beloved aging Australian shepherd with Laura and be certain she would receive excellent care. Laura would love my girl, take wonderful care of her, and I would have no worries while away. Laura is extremely reliable and could manage things like special diets and medicine. She loves and understands dogs. I recommend her highly.
