I have been a dog-sitter for 4 years with multiple trusting and repeat clients on and off Rover. I offer everything your special pup might need, I have experience watching older, picky, nervous, puppy and difficult doggies and will follow rigid instructions if that is what you need! My services are tailored to what your dog needs, but overall I will walk 3 times a day, daily trips to the dog park and thorough exercise, food, wee-wee pad cleaning and disposal, daily play-time, grooming, bathing, and mild housecleaning. Anytime you go on vacation, I'm your girl! Whatever size your adorable pup is, I am comfortable in every aspect of caregiving. But fear not cat-lovers! I do have extensive experience with cats as well! For 3 years I was a caregiver in a cat shelter in Manhattan, providing feeding, cleaning and of course lots of play-time and love every weekend. Mathilde was amazing with Dewey. She put up with my constant checking in at the begninning and sent me tons of pictures to put me at ease. Mathilde took Dewey to the dog park and park everyday and I came home to a very happy and content pup and a clean apartment. I would 100% recommend Mathilde and will definitely be using her again!
Mathilde was the perfect house sitter for my dog and two cats!! She took amazing care of them and was patient as each one warmed up to her. Mathilde kept in contact with me throughout my vacation and when I got home, all three pets were calm and happy. I'll be rebooking her whenever I need a sitter!
Like many of you I am (but try hard not to be!) a super fearful dog-human: my childhood dog got hit by a car. But although I am, embarrassingly, both fearful and suspicious when it comes to my dogs, I found Mathilde to be communicative, reliable, and trustworthy as a caretaker for our baby June, a 4 month old puppy who we gleefully helicopter parent. I am so so happy with Mathilde!

I have never believed that dogs are stay at home pets. Dogs should be outdoors where they are so happy and energetic! I think a visit to the dog park daily is essential, as well as exploring the neighborhood. Dogs should be able to explore their surroundings, you'll see a happy dog when their nose goes crazy sniffing new territory!
