I have loved dogs my entire life and would always ensure their safety and happiness. I currently am living on one side of a two family house with my sister. The other house is occupied by my Grandmother so the entire backyard of two houses is connected. I grew up with a small Silky Terrier dog (Almost like a Yorkie), and a Rottweiler. I would love to welcome my home up to any dog and make them part of my family for a little while. I have a lot of time to spend with them because I am currently enroll in only two college classes, and work is very slow at the moment. I ensure a safe, healthy, caring environment. This includes a bath with oatmeal shampoo (unless shampoo is provided by owner), and being brushed with either a FURminator, or regular brush depending on hair type. I was very concerned about our 14 yr old Ruby being too much for a sitter because she does require TLC due to her hip problem. It's apparent Marissa did well because Ruby was happy. She welcomed Ruby back which made me feel so good! I look forward to going away with no worries about Ruby. She's our sitter for sure.
Marissa was great! So here is my story why Marissa is the best -I had another person booked but at 11:00PM the night before I'm getting on a plane the next morning the person I booked with is not answering any of my calls or texts to let me know what time I can bring Frosty over the next day-so needless to say I'm in a panic , thinking I'm going to miss my plane all because of this irresponsible person (which by the way was a grown women who was a mother of a 13 year old)! I didn't even have a meet and greet with Marissa but had seen her reviews and all who left there pets said she was good so I decided to text her late that night and see if she would come to my rescue!! And that's just what she did-to my surprise she texted me back immediately and even walked me through my panic to help me know how to work Rover app. And ensured me that I could book her even as late that night as 1:00AM and she would be there the next morning to take my dog for an entire week-on such short notice-that's an amazing person ! Marrisa seems to love animals and her dog is really great with other dogs! She was an excellent communicator and answered all my texts within minutes which made me feel she is really professional! She sent daily updates and great pictures of the dogs playing and that helped to ease my worries being this was the first time we ever left our dog with anyone at all! Also just want to say that Rover's customer service was great-when I called late at night in a panic because other women I booked never respond they immediately cancelled her as I requested and didn't give me a hard time at all and were nice and very helpful! Thanks Marrisa for being there and being a great communicator-you would be in good hands with her and even if u are in trouble like I was, and apprehensive about leaving your family member with someone you haven't even had a "meet and Greet " with -take a chance and I'm sure you will be a repeat customer! A typical day
-Playing indoors or outdoors with many different types of toys (toys brought by you the owner, or ones that I have in my home) -Running around in my fully fenced backyard -Taking a quick dip or run through of my small plastic dog pool -Taking walks around the neighborhood -Going outside to relieve themselves many times throughout the day -Tons of affection by my boyfriend, sister, and myself (all of whom loves dogs) -Practicing tricks -Spoiled with love and treats :)
