About Emily

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi! I'm a true animal lover that really enjoys pet-sitting. I grew up with dogs all my life and really miss having a sweet pup around! I currently do not have any pets of my own, but animals really bring me joy. I usually have an instant connection with dogs and and I like getting to know their unique personalities.

While I have a full-time job in Manhattan (work Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm), my weekends are free to spend all my time with your dog(s) going on long walks, to the local dog park, or whatever their favorite activity may be! I can host your dog(s) in my home or yours, whatever is more comfortable for you and your pets.

Please feel free to message me with any questions or setup a meet and greet!

Emily and Paul have a beautiful home ready to welcome pups in. From their spacious apartment to being steps away from Central Park, your pup will have lots of room and time to play.

As a couple hosting on DogVacay, your pup will get twice the attention. Because they don't have a pup of their own (yet), this is a great vacay for a pup needing some extra TLC.
Emily was a great host. She was very caring, kind to the dog and had flexibility on pickup and drop off.
Luna had a great time with Emily and we were so glad to receive so many photo updates of their adventures in the neighborhood. Emily left our home clean and was also flexible with her departure time. We would absolutely recommend her!
Emily was amazing! I got updates several times a day which provided real time photos of how content both of my fur babies were under her care. For their first experience having an overnight petsitter, I was quite nervous about how they would do, but Emily made every effort to keep consistent with all of their usual routines and gave them lots of affection.
I can't begin to express what a wonderful sitter Emily was. It was the first time leaving my "baby" for an extended period of time (and with me going overseas, no less), so of course I was stressed. From my first meeting with Emily (during our extended meet and greet) I was totally at ease and knew Moxie would be in great hands...and she was! From daily pics to updates (and even an offer for FaceTime), Emily was attentive, genuinely caring and a great communicator. She was instrumental in ensuring our vacation was a great success as we didn't have to stress about Moxie (as I usually would have) and she followed our outline of Moxie's schedule for feeding, walking and daycare (and I know there were lots of snuggles and play time too). If you're looking for a great sitter, someone you can trust - and like - Emily is your girl. Next time we leave town, there's no doubt we'll be calling on Emily (hopefully she won't be in too high demand by then)!
We continue to rebook - the kids love Emily. :)
Emily was wonderful. She was super flexible on start and end times and sent me constant updates while I was away. I could tell she really cared for Beanie. Will be booking again with Emily!
There are not enough good things I can say about Emily. This was our first time away from our puppy for an extended period of time and she was so patient with us. She was extremely accommodating of our schedule and willing to pick him up from his dog club. T-Rye is 6 months and she was very vigilant about taking him outside to go to the bathroom (he never had an accident in the house) and always brought water with her on his walks (it was a very hot two weeks). She also brushed his hair since it is long and can get matted, and picked up chicken, his favorite treat! She stayed at our apartment and was very respectful of our belongings. Emily sent us daily emails and photos which was really nice to have since we missed him so much; we were even able to facetime with him! I think the true statement of what a great job she did was that our dog club even mentioned that they saw her walking with T-Rye and that she was so caring of him. It says a lot when someone else notes how great your dog sitter is. I cannot recommend her enough!
Emily was amazing - she shared adorable photos of the dogs and I felt very comfortable having her at my place. She is a young professional and it showed in her demenour, and also worth mention that she was simply a nice person.

My younger dog went "bark bark" as I typed this so I think he says, "Two paws up."
We needed a comfortable, safe spot for Willa while we went to lunch then to a Broadway show. It was a great day but I think Willa had even a better time in a beautiful apartment overlooking Central Park. She was nervous when she arrived but Emily put her right at ease. They had a walk in Central Park and then a nap. Emily sent us pictures of Willa napping and getting her belly rubbed. Our first time using Dog Vacay and would use Emily again for sure!
Buddy loves staying with Emily and Paul! He couldn't be more happy to see them when I drop him off. They take great care of him, take lots of long walks in the park, and send lots of pics throughout his stay. I'm so grateful to have found them. It makes it easier for me to leave town knowing Buddy is in good hands.
