I can offer your pet love and top of the line care while you are away! I have a significant amount of experience with animals including veterinary care, service dog training, and professional pet resort work, as well as both dog and cat boarding and care. I graduated from University of San Diego in May 2014 with my degree in Communication Studies and Business. After my graduation I lived in Guam for 6 months, working at a resort there. Upon returning I started working as a veterinary nurse in a local East Bay animal hospital I had previously interned for during college. I would love to be given the opportunity to look after your four-legged loved ones and I promise they will be in the best care!
I started pet sitting at a fairly young age, as I have a strong love for animals and had experience with my own pets growing up. More specifically, while in my early teenage years I raised and trained a puppy to be a guide dog through Guide Dogs for the Blind. To see if I was interested in pursuing a career in the veterinary medicine field I held an internship for a year in the Bay Area at a local animal hospital. Additionally, that same year I also had an internship in the training department of Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael. While in college I also worked at a pet resort, where I cared for the dogs and cats in for boarding, daycare, training, and grooming. My final year of college I interned at the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA in the Communications and Development departments. Upon returning from Guam, things fell perfectly into place and I began working for the same animal hospital I had interned for during college. As an animal nurse I do anything and everything from checking patients in, administering routine vaccines or medications, and assisting in surgeries. I can promise you that your furry loved ones will be safe with me!
I have grown up with dogs since a very young age. During my teens I decided to do something more serious with my love for dogs, and raised and trained a guide dog puppy through Guide Dogs for the Blind. After that, I went on the intern for a year in a veterinary hospital, and also held an internship in the training department of Guide Dogs for the Blind. I also worked at a pet resort during college where I cared for the dogs and cats with us for boarding, daycare, grooming, or training. I now have the pleasure of being a veterinary nurse in a local East Bay hospital!
