About Barbara

4 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
We have a big house in the north Annex, Toronto with a large fenced yard and a generous sun deck. Your dog will be with me and my own dog, Chelsea , most of the time. When your dog is spending the day with us, he/she will enjoy her time in the kitchen with me as that's where I spend most of my time. In the warm weather the doors and windows are open and the dogs wander in and out at will. When dogs spend the night, they spend the night in my bed along with Chelsea. If I go out, it's to grocery shop and will be gone for no more and an hour and a half. Your dog and mine will be in the kitchen with food water and beds for that time. It's a rare occasion when there is no one home, so on the whole, you can be comforted knowing your dog will be well cared for and will receive lots of love and attention.

Barbara was great with Wendel! Our little guy enjoyed his stay with Barbara and her family so much that when he came home, he looked a little sad. He misses wrestling with Rasco, sleeping in the cat's bed and burrowing in Barbara's electric blanket. We're so grateful to Barbara for looking after Wendel while we were away!
this visit did not go well as my dogs were too upset and hyper, which is not normally their habit.. I am better off having someone come to my home where my dogs are with the comfort of their own home..Happy to say, I have found the perfect sitter now for them ..
My dogs Riley, Jordie and Brady loved their first stay @ Barbara's. Riley is an older dog and I was a bit worried about leaving him as he needs more care, but Barbara insisted they all stay together, She was very accommodating, which immediately put me at ease. They loved her back yard and got along well with her dog as well as her son's. I loved the way Barbara sent me a photo of all three just to show me that they were fine. I would definitely recommend her services. She is very quick to respond to all enquiries. My dogs can't wait for their next stay :)
Our dog, Misha, greatly enjoyed her recent stay at Barbara's place. Barbara was very flexible about accommodating our last-minute request, and she even made time for a meet-and-greet the night before. She took good care of Misha, calming her down during the Victoria Day fireworks and giving her plenty of care and attention. Misha was also scared of going down stairs, but within just a couple of days, Barbara helped her get over that fear. We loved the pictures that she sent us of Misha playing in the park, hanging out on the deck, and relaxing at home. We would definitely be happy to leave Misha with Barbara again anytime.
Our dogs had such a wonderful time in Barbara's care - which made out holiday getaway worry free. We have two small dogs who spent a week with Barbara. They enjoyed her bright airy home, a large and interesting backyard and the luxury of Barbara's almost constant presence and attention. She made it her mission to get my one dog to show a cuddly side - which she achieved. And Barbara had no problem responding to my other dog's constant need to play and get attention. Her dog Chelsea also welcomed our dogs and the three of them became her veritable entourage. We feel like we've struck gold having found Barbara. We highly recommend her as a dog sitter.

I was very happy with Barbara. She took good care of Sam and sent lots of photos, so I could see he was settling in very well. Sam needs lots of cuddles and attention and he got that with Barbara!
Oscar had a wonderful stay at Barb's house. He got loads of attention and got to visit with Barb's own dog for the week. She has a wonderful space and lots of activity going on to keep the dogs amused. I would definitely leave Oscar with her again!
What a fantastic first DogVacay experience. Easy drop-off and pick-up, happy (and exhausted) pup, and an easy way for us to have a worry-free day in the city. Thanks Barbara!
Barbara is warm and welcoming, and Tristan settled in immediately. He loved having the freedom to explore her huge back yard (completely fenced in). Tristan's Cacau was a complete success and I look forward to boarding with Barbara again!
Tuli was very happy staying with Barb and her bichon Chelsea. He is a shy dog so when he is relaxed and happy when we leave him with someone that is saying a lot!

We are about to book another stay with Barb and Chelsea for the Thanksgiving weekend.
