I'm from Brazil and I've been living in New York for 5 months with my husband.
I love dogs and I had one from the moment I was born until I was 16. After he passed, my mother and I were sad and didn't want another dog for a while, but I kept walking my neighbors dogs. In the moment, I still don't have a dog (although I can't wait to have one again!) but I'm lucky to have a wonderful cat.
Every week I go to ACC to walk the dogs there, so I have experience walking with many kinds of dogs. However, since there are many dogs there and all of them are desperate to go out, I can't enjoy each one's company for a long time.
When I am with your pet, I can do whatever you prefer me to do: walk, run, play, let him play with other animals.. All of this will depend on what you feel most comfortable with.
P.S. When I was a kid, I had a dog, a cat, birds, fishes, rabbits, hamsters and I even took care of a raccoon for a while.
P.S.2: I'm a biologist and I worked with agoutis and I watched (and helped) many animals being rescued in the Brazilian shore, including penguins. So I'm available to take care of many kinds of animals, as long as the owner teaches me what to do :)
