About Kelly

I've been a volunteer for about 10 years (mainly with cats) and have had cat babies and doggie cousins my whole life. All my summers have been spent caring for and walking dogs. In addition, I have done a ton of foster work with animals (19 in total), even adopting a couple along the way. I've just moved to Fort Collins and started volunteering with Fort Collins Cat Rescue, CLICK and Animal House and I simply love it. Kitty cuddles and dog walks are such a joy, honestly one of the happiest parts of my day! Going for long walks is something I already love to do and doing it with a dog just makes it all the better. Keeping pets healthy is as important as keeping myself healthy. I find animals to be my biggest life's passion and can't dream of a better job than working with them. I'm an across the board animal advocate and a long time shelter supporter. I hope you feel that picking me as your temporary pet parent is a guarantee of excellence and the best pet experience possible! I am extremely dependable and have excellent references.

Kelly is a true animal lover and very responsible! I've only seen her work with kitties (she volunteers with me with shelter cats) but I know she also volunteers at a dog rescue. She is very dedicated to the welfare of the animals she works with.

My daughter, Kelly Winslow has loved animals forever. The older she got her passion for them just deepened. She started volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society (under Sharon Kinsella) as soon as she was old enough. Besides her own cat, she started fostering cats and dogs. Also, she has taken in feral cats and paid for them to be neutered and spayed. Then, she found homes for them on ranches and barns. In addition, Kelly volunteered with HALO animal shelter at one of the local Petco stores. She did this while getting her degree at ASU and graduating summa cum laude. When she was finished with ASU, she continued to volunteer. The Manager at Petco that Kelly worked under is Stan Shelton. When Kelly told him she was moving to Fort Collins, CO he was heartbroken saying “I'm not letting you go”. He wrote her a beautiful letter of recommendation; she can provide a copy of that for your records. While Kelly grew up with cats, every summer we went to visit family in Oregon. Here, she fell in love with all the family's dogs. Kelly had a natural instinct for training them and felt they were all her “cousins.” She has worked with a shelter in California in addition to pet-sitting. Everyone she has worked with is amazed at her dedication and the selfless hours she tirelessly does on behalf of the animals. The first thing she did when she moved to Colorado was find shelters to continue volunteering. Her father and I could not be more proud of her big heart. She has never smoked, drank or taken drugs. I honestly feel she would be a great asset to any position where she could follow her dream of working with animals.

Thanks, Ann Winslow

Kelly is kind, caring, and genuinely loves all animals putting their welfare before her own needs. When needing the services of a pet caretaker I would highly recommend Kelly as I know you could go on a vacation and completely enjoy yourself knowing your pet was in excellent care. Along with pet care, Kelly is 100% trustworthy with your property should you need her for in home care. She is very respectful of one's personal items. She goes beyond standard and routine care like feeding, medicating, cleaning up after, and walking if necessary. Kelly will take the time to play with them and make the pets feel safe and secure and well loved.
