About Elizabeth

35 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Lots of love, cuddles, walks, and 24/7 companionship, one dog at a time or up to 3 dogs from a family. I'm a work-at-home artist with a pet-friendly house. I love pets! I've lived with dogs (up to 4 at once), kitties, parakeets, an Amazon parrot named Sam, aquarium fish, pond fish (I can clean a filter!), frogs, a pet mouse, and some years ago, a pet lamb. I grew up on a farm with horses, cows, sheep and chickens. My dogs have included English cocker spaniels, border collies, wire-haired pointers, English springer spaniels, and mixes. Most of my own dogs have been high-energy dogs that need to run and stretch their legs.

I paint, I sew, I work on a computer, I cook. I like to take frequent breaks and go for walks with my visiting pups. Our dog passed away and I love to 'borrow' your pet and have a furry friend again, if just for a day or a week.

My home is pet-friendly — I want visiting dogs to make themselves at home. Please message me for a custom quote for 2-3 dogs all from the same family: $36/day for 1st dog, $30/day for each of dogs 2 and 3.

I cannot board pit-bulls or pit-mixes, mixes that are part pit, or any aggressive dogs that have any history of biting or snapping. I cannot board dogs that use potty pads or belly bands or have incontinence issues.

I welcome puppies in the process of house-training, but they must have a crate and, please, let me know in advance.

Please bring your pup's crate, I have plenty of space.

I look forward to spending time with your pup!

My dog loved Elizabeth from the first second he met her at the meet and greet. He couldn't wait to get into her house to see her when I dropped him off for his vacay. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and caring and frequently let us know how he was doing with positive notes and great pictures. She took him on frequent walks (even in a snow storm) so he got lots of exercise. I appreciated that she only takes one dog or one family's dogs at a time so I knew that he would have lots of attention. We have already booked another visit. Great experience!

We were very pleased with the quality of care that our dog received while on vacay with Lizzie and her husband. Great experience!!
We had a great experience having our dog stay with Elizabeth. She was very prompt in replying and coordinating details, and I received updates through the weekend. Elizabeth was also helpful in making sure I knew what to bring with me, and making sure that she learned everything about our dog that she needed to take good care of her.
