About Liz

7 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I've had dogs my whole life. I had my first German Shepherd when I was only 2 years old and have had many other breeds since then. I've had a Siberian-Husky, Pomeranian, Jack-Russel terrier, Bearded Collie, and my most recent was a Pug-Chihuahua/ Dachsund. I also recently took care of a friends' kitten while she prepared to move (how I found out I have a cat allergy).

I'm currently doing my undergrad studies full time at the U of S, and I hope to use my obtained degree to get into the Veterinary College. I love all animals, but I really love dogs! I do have a slight allergy to cats but only after a long period of time (roughly 1 week before symptoms become unbearable) so I would prefer to look after your cats in your home rather than in mine.

I currently live on the main floor of a house with my husband who works full time. Our back yard is partially fenced but not locked. The only way to the backyard is out the front door and around the side of the house so a leash will be required at all times.

Your animals will not be unsupervised for more than 2 hours at a time during the week-days (unless I have to do any grocery shopping but again will only be out for a short period and my husband may be home as well), and on weekends I can provide full day/ night care. I will not bring your animals to the store with me (unless it's to critters for a treat that YOU PREVIOUSLY APPROVE of), however if they enjoy car-rides, I'm not opposed to taking them for a drive (fully attended). I have a somewhat flexible schedule and am willing to work around yours.

Please note: I do not have the time to house train your pet, so if s/he is not house trained I will not take her/him. It is too much of a hassle and as a student in classes full time, I do not have the extra time that is needed to help a dog learn. Also, it seems that it's not clear on the booking page (as I have been asked numerous times), all prices are PER PET as per the DogVacay regulations.

Liz was super accommodating with my last minute request. She took great care of Willie. Thanks Liz!
Liz was very attentive to our dog's needs and took good care of him. She was a great communicator and we loved the pictures she sent.
Liz really cared about the safety and happiness of our dog. At the meet n greet she asked lots of thoughtful questions and was very interested in knowing as much as possible about our dog. Our dog immediately connected with her and they got along great. We loved the photos she sent us of Lainey's vacation too. We would definitely work with Liz again!

very good
Superb! Very understanding and patient to my pet dog "kuro"...
Elizabeth plus a very kind and gentle soul who my pet seemed to take to quickly. I had an older dog who is not good at stairs and she kindly gave him assistance up-and-down. She obviously is a very caring person and I appreciate an animal lover looking after my pants.
