Having had animals since I was 4, from mice to dogs to cats to rats, I am an extreme animal lover and advocate. My senior handicapped dog (who is still very playful!) makes a great friend to everyone she meets, and she loves company. We have a dog park half a block away where dogs are able to socialize with others and let loose, and we love to go run around and play in the sun. Our cat is friendly with dogs and tends to her own business, so as long as your pup is ok with cats, they'll get along well. Your angel will get lots of love and attention as well as firm adherence to routines and commands. Animals aren't just pets; they're family.
