Hello puppy parents!
My name is Becky, and I strongly believe that dogs are very precious members of our family. I love and cherish them. In my life I have had 5 dogs, and each one has shared their entire life with me. I have always taken extremely good care of them, and in return they give me love, joy and companionship. I cater to their needs, happiness, comfort, and their safety. Most important of all...I love them. It would be my pleasure, and a privilege, to do the same for your little furry family member.
I was born and raised in Arizona. I moved away, and came back home. I have bought a house here in Mayer, AZ just 30 minutes South East of Prescott, AZ. I work at home on my computer part time, and now want to seriously pursuing my goal to open my home for doggie care.
I have 2 furry kids right now "Jake" and "Oliver", and are they a couple of characters!
Jake is people cautious until he gets to know you, which takes about 60 seconds once you let him sniff you. Then he is mellow, and so sweet and loving. He is my cuddler. He is food driven, likes to take naps, and he also likes to meet new dogs!
Oliver is a ham! He loves loves loves people, but not so much to be picked up and cuddled. I still do it though, and he puts up with me! He is cautious of new dogs at first, but then he settles in quickly.
Oliver is squeaky toy driven, and he loves to play! He makes me laugh all day long! How lucky I am to have these two boys!
I prefer to dog sit smaller dogs up to 25-30 pounds. Please understand for safety reasons I cannot accept a dog who has a tendency/history of attacking or biting other dogs.
My home is older, small, very cozy, comfortable and clean. If you are expecting fancy... that would not be my house. Your doggie will have full access and comfort to my entire house. They will never be caged or penned up. They will live as a member of our family. They are allowed on the furniture or my bed to cuddle in blankets. I do have carpeted doggie stairs to my bed, so they do not have to jump up or down. I will take them outside 4 to 6 times a day to hang out, play and do their business. I will never leave them unattended outside. I do have a chain linked front yard with a double gated entry for safety. My fence is 4ft high, so if you have a fence jumper I would have to take your pup out on a long leash.
Treats are 100% chicken or beef bites that I broil in my own oven. Oliver has a sensitive stomach, so I have to be careful what I give him.
I am located about 8 miles west of I-17 & Highway 69 in the town of Mayer, AZ. It is very convenient to drop off and pick up your pooches when you are heading to and from Phoenix, Prescott, Sedona, or Flagstaff.
When you decide to entrust your precious one into my care... you can have absolute piece of mind that they will be safe, happy, and NEVER ignored or left out. They will be loved, and doted on while they are in my happy home. I will also send you text messages and pictures of them as often as you like!
We hope to meet you soon!
